Feeding Trends - Privacy Policy

Feeding Trends recognizes that your privacy is very important, and we take it seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to activities by Feeding Trends Pvt. Ltd. referred to as ( “Feeding Trends,” “we” or “us”). This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and sharing of your personal information when you use the Feeding Trends Platform. Terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service and Community and Content Rule


Feeding Trends can modify this privacy policy, and if there are any material changes, you would be notified either through our services or any other means so that you can review the modifications before they become effective. We would update the latest Privacy Policy with its effective date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to regularly visit and review the latest Privacy Policy from time to time to stay informed about our practices.


You acknowledge that your use of the Feeding Trends Services after we update the Privacy Policy or send a notice about our changes to this Privacy Policy means that the collection, usage, storage, disclosure, and sharing of your personal data is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, as of its effective date.


The Information we collect & Its Usage

We collect information directly from individuals, from third parties, and automatically through the Feeding Trends Platform. When you create an account and profile on the Feeding Trends Platform, we collect the information associated with your Google/LinkedIn/Facebook/Email account, and other information you provide, such as topics and categories you find interesting. All the information which you choose to add to your profile (example: your name, photo, bio, and any other information) can be viewed by the users and the visitors of the Feeding Trends Platform. Once you create a profile, other users and visitors will be able to see in your profile certain information about your activity on the Feeding Trends Platform, such as your posts, who follows you, whom you follow, and how you interact with the other posts, for example, comments.


To give you the best possible experience while using Feeding Trends, we collect information from your interactions.. Some of this information is explicitly provided by you, for example- your email address. Other information is collected by us based on actions you take while using Feeding Trends, such as the pages you view (including how much of a given page and for how long) and your use of platform features (including the topics you follow and the posts you engage with). This information includes the records of all interactions a user has on the Feeding Trends platform, a user’s IP (internet protocol) address, information about the user's device (which device you use or the type of browser), and referral information (how a user reached a particular page).


We also receive information when you view content on or otherwise interact with the Feeding Trends Platform, even if you have not created an account. We collect browsing information – such as IP address and location, date and time stamp, user agent, Feeding Trends cookie ID (if applicable), URL, unique advertising or content identifiers (if applicable) and time zone, and other information about user activities on the Feeding Trends Platform, as well as on third party sites and services that have embedded our Feeding Trends pixels (“Pixels”), buttons, or related services.


Feeding Trends uses the information we collect for the following purposes: Provide our Services, Personalization, Advertising, Marketing and Promotions, Analytics, Comply with Law, Prevent Misuse.


We use this information for the following reasons that make users’ experience on Feeding Trends better, to provide, test, improve, promote and personalize the services. We also use this information to gather metrics to better understand and analyze how users access and use the Feeding Trends Platform to improve the services we provide. We use this information to carry out our business operations, to comply with the standard legal obligations, and for target-specific business administration purposes. And for the following other reasons :


Prevent Misuse

We obtain information from third-party sources. For example, we may collect information about you from your interactions with our social media handles or when you communicate with our team through a third-party application. Also, if you create or log into your Feeding Trends account through a third-party platform (such as Google, Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter), we will have access to certain information from that platform, such as your name, your friends or followers list, and profile picture, which would be in accordance with the authorization procedures set by these platforms.


Feeding Trends collects and stores personal data about its users to customize their experience by displaying content tailored to the preferences and interests indicated by the users (including through their reading history and network interactions).


The Information Disclosure

Feeding Trends do not sell your personal information – such as your name and contact information – to third parties to use for their own marketing purposes.


Feeding Trends might choose to transfer your account information with third parties in some circumstances, including: (1) with your consent; (2) to a service provider or partner who meets our data protection standards; (3) with researchers who are doing it for academic or non-profit purposes, through aggregation, anonymization, or pseudonymization; (4) when we believe it’s required and necessary for legal process; (5) when we believe that doing it might save someone from being harmed.


If we are going to share your information in response to the legal process, we’ll give you notice so you can challenge it (for example by seeking court intervention), unless the law prohibits us from doing so or we believe that giving you a prior notice might endanger someone else or would cause illegal conduct. We will ensure and object to legal requests for information that the Feeding Trends Team believes are improper.


The Cookies & Third-Party Services:

The Feeding Trends Platform uses cookies, in combination with pixels, local storage objects, and similar devices (collectively, “cookies” unless otherwise noted) to distinguish you from other users of the Feeding Trends Platform. This helps us provide you with a good experience, improve our service, and personalize ads and content to you while you use the Feeding Trends Platform. To recognize you when you return to our platform/website/services, we use browser cookies and similar technologies. This is used by Feeding Trends in numerous ways, for example, to log you in every time you return to our platform/services, personalize content according to your preferences, remember your preferences, and evaluate the effectiveness of our emails.


We use Pixels to track the online movements of users on the Feeding Trends Platform and on the web pages of our Ad Services along with using it to personalize content & enhance user experience.


To measure, analyze, and maintain effective communication, we use similar technologies in our emails to determine when a specific mail has been opened or forwarded.


We use some third-party services to serve a particular purpose and provide some services to us and they may place their own cookies in your browser. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Feeding Trends only and not the use of cookies by third parties.


You give consent to the placement of cookies by us on your browser, and also to our third-party service providers. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you wish to, you can modify your browser settings to remove or reject browser cookies. Unless you have adjusted your browser settings to refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies as soon as you visit the Feeding Trends Platform. Please note that by removing or rejecting cookies, you may not be able to access all or some services of the Feeding Trends platform.


Feeding Trends doesn’t control what data third parties collect when you use their services on our platform. We also don’t control what the third parties choose to do with whatever data they collect. So, third-party embeds on Feeding Trends are not covered by this Privacy Policy. They are covered by the privacy policy of the third party who is providing a particular service.


The User Consent

We store and maintain files and other data stored in your user account at AWS. We keep backup copies of data including the contents of your user account to prevent loss of data due to errors or system failures, Hence, even after you choose to delete/terminate your account, your files and data may remain on our servers. By using the website & services of Feeding Trends, you authorize Feeding Trends to transfer, store, and use your information in India and any other country where we operate. We will take the necessary steps to ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.


Feeding Trends intentionally doesn’t collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Please do not submit any personal information through our Website or Service if you are under the permissible age of 13. Please contact us if you believe that any child under the age of 13 has submitted any personal details to us.


By creating and using an account on Feeding Trends, users may make certain personal data about themselves public and accessible to others on their profile and through network interactions. Since all the users can have access to the profiles & the content posted by all other users, it may be possible for individuals/third parties to derive identifying personal data from posts, whether by reading, inference, research, and analysis If any user does not agree with and accept the risks that arise from the usage of Feeding Trends’s platform/services, the user should choose to not use the Services.


Email and Communications

When you join the Feeding Trends Platform by signing up for an account or creating a profile, as part of the service, you will start receiving communication emails that could be a transaction, administrative, notices, newsletter, digests containing content from the Feeding Trends Platform that we believe may match your interests.


In addition, users may be able to send communications and invite to their contacts through their Feeding Trends account, by email.


You may opt-out of receiving certain emails and communications from us, such as newsletters, digests, by unsubscribing mail list, or by sending us mail at contact@feedingtrends.com. If you opt-out, we may still send you administrative emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.


Metrics and Stats:

We may share with our advertisers or publishers aggregate statistics, metrics, and other reports about the performance of their ads or content in the Feeding Trends Platform such as the number of unique user views, demographics about the users who saw their ads or content, conversion rates, and date and time information. We do not share IP addresses or personal information, but certain features may allow you to share your personal information with advertisers on our platform if you choose to do so. We may also allow our advertisers or publishers to use Pixels on the Feeding Trends Platform in order to collect information about the performance of their ads or content.


Your Data In Public

Your content, including your name, profile picture, profile information, and certain associated activity information is available to other users of the Feeding Trends Platform and may also be viewed publicly.


Your Feeding Trends’s user profile page, post pages, and interactions may be indexed by search engines such, against your name on the Internet. Users may also share the post and profile on social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, or Twitter. Even after you delete your account from Feeding Trends, it might take some time for your profile and content to get de-indexed from search engines and we can’t provide surety that the content will be de-indexed from the public domain completely.


Deleting Your Personal Information

If you have a Feeding Trends account, you can modify and delete your account. To delete your account, mail us at contact@feedingtrends.com from your registered email address.


It may take some time to completely delete your account (at our discretion). However, if you choose to delete your account, your information and content can’t be recovered after that time. Feeding Trends may preserve and maintain copies of your information beyond this time period when required to do so by law.


Data Security

To protect data transmitted to and from our website/services, we use encryption (HTTPS/TLS). However, the Feeding Trends team believes that our users understand that no data transmission is 100% secure over the Internet and a user is using Feeding Trends’s website/services solely at his/her own risk/discretion. We recommend all the users on the Feeding Trends platform take reasonable measures to secure their accounts.


Transfer of Data

Feeding Trends is hosted in India. By using the website & services of Feeding Trends, you authorize Feeding Trends to transfer, store, and use your information in India and any other country where we operate. If any of our processors are getting access to these data, they would be having at least the same level of data protection as that set out in this statement.


If Feeding Trends is going to be involved in a merger, bankruptcy, acquisition,, reorganization or sale of assets and in doing us, Feeding Trends is required to transfer its user information or it becomes subject to a different privacy policy, Feeding Trends would notify all its users well in advance. This would give our users ample time to opt-out of any such new policy if they don’t agree with it and the users can choose to delete their account before transfer.


Retention Of Data

Feeding Trends retains personal data associated with your account as long as your account exists on our platform. If a user wants to, he/she can delete all the personal information by deleting his/her account at any time.


To delete your account, mail us at contact@feedingtrends.com from your registered email address.


As soon as the deletion process is initiated, it would take some time, however, we don’t take guarantee for complete de-indexing of data from search engines or social media which Feeding Trends may have limited or no control.
