On the eve of 72nd Republic Day of India, the country's highest civilian awards, the Padma Awards (for 2021), were announced. Under this, three categories Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri are awarded. This year, a total of 119 people will receive the Padma Awards.
The Indian Government has already announced the names of the people who will be awarded the Padma Awards on the 72nd Republic Day of India. The category-wise list of Padma Awardees is given below.
Padma Vibhushan Award Recipients for 2021
This year, Padma Vibhushan is being given to 7 people in 2021. Which includes Japan's President Shinzo Abe.
SP Balasubramaniam who is being posthumously awarded this award. Dr BM Hegde is being given to him in the field of medicine from Karnataka. Shri Narendra Singh posthumously in the field of Science and Engineering. Maulana Waheeduddin Khan who is being given in the spiritual realm. Shri. Bab Lal from Archaeology. And Sudarshan Sahu for Arts.
Padma Bhushan Award Recipients for 2021
Padma Bhushan is being given to 10 people
Shri Ram Vilas Paswan posthumously. Keshubhai Patel posthumously. Kalbe Sadiq posthumously in the spiritual realm. Tarun Gogoi is also being honoured posthumously with the Padma Bhushan. Shantakumari Chitra has been awarded from the field of arts, Chandrasekhar Kamra from the field of literature and Sumitra Mahajan have also been awarded Padma Bhusan. Rupendra Mishra in the field of civil service. Rajinikanth Devi Das Shah Trade and Industry. Tarlochan Singh has also been honoured with Padma Bhushan.

This year Padmashree is being given to 102 people.
Bharat Ratna is not named for this year but yes Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhusan, and Padma Shri are being awarded this year on republic day 26th Jan 2021.
