Day 3 at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show was nothing short of inspiring, thanks to the remarkable efforts of Jagriti Enterprise Centre – Purvanchal (JECP) Founded by Visionary  Shri Shashank Mani who is working tirelessly on Purvanchal Udyamita.

The highlight of the day was their engaging E-Meet, where Gaurav Srivastava-(Digital- Director CoE, Jagriti Seva Sansthan) and Shilpi Singh( Project Lead-Tech Shakti, Jagriti Seva Sansthan) welcomed Uttar Pradesh startups ready to provide crucial support to their project, Tech Shakti supported by Bill and Melinda gates foundation.

Jagriti Enterprise Centre – Purvanchal: Pioneers of Enterprise-Led Development

Jagriti Yatra and Jagriti Enterprise Centre -Purvanchal(JECP)are the two pillars of the Jagriti Seva Sansthan.

JECP, an organization deeply committed to promoting Enterprise-Led Development in Tier 2/3 districts of India, is creating waves with their innovative approach. Rooted in the core philosophy of 'Udyamita' (entrepreneurship), Jagriti aspires to generate purpose, employment, and robust ecosystems in Middle India.

Building a Nation Through Enterprise

Their mission? To inspire leaders across Middle India by establishing a thriving incubation and innovation ecosystem. Through this, they aim to lay the foundation for nation-building, where enterprises become the driving force of economic development and social change.

Tech Shakti: Bridging the Digital Gender Divide and Empowering Women

Tech Shakti, the brainchild of the Women Centre of Excellence, Jagriti Seva Sansthan, groundbreaking initiative designed to address pressing issues in our society. It focuses on three key pillars:

1. Narrowing the Gender Digital Divide

One of the most prominent aspects of Tech Shakti is its commitment to bridging the gender digital divide. In a world where technology often widens disparities, Tech Shakti aims to make women not just users but owners and operators of digital tools. This empowerment ensures that women can fully participate in the digital age.

2. Economic Empowerment of Women

Economic empowerment is a cornerstone of gender equality. Tech Shakti recognizes this and seeks to uplift women economically by providing them with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to become financially independent. Through various programs and initiatives, they are paving the way for women to break through glass ceilings.

3. Knowledge Sharing and Community Engagement

Tech Shakti doesn't stop at empowering individuals; it aims to empower entire communities. Through knowledge-sharing initiatives, the project encourages peer-to-peer engagement within communities. It was a platform where innovators and entrepreneurs came together to explore opportunities for collaboration with Tech Shakti. Startup20 Engagement Group, under India's G20 presidency, has taken another transformative leap towards revolutionizing entrepreneurship across India by collaborating with the Jagriti Seva Sansthan, to foster robust entrepreneurship ecosystems in Tier 2/3 cities in India. This strategic partnership is poised to reshape the region's entrepreneurial landscape significantly.

The Jagriti-Startup20-G20 Yatra 2023 - a one-of-a-kind event that embodies the spirit of inclusive entrepreneurship, cross-border collaboration, sustainability, and innovation on both a national and international scale.

It is set to be one of the world’s largest entrepreneurship journeys ever undertaken, with a diverse cohort of 350 Indian participants and 70 foreign delegates from G20 countries. This diverse group of entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers will come together to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and create solutions for some of the most pressing challenges faced by our societies over a 14-day national train journey.

The journey will start from Mumbai on 28th October 2023 and end on 10th November 2023. Within these 14 days, it will span across four mega events hosted in prominent Indian cities, including Bangalore, Vizag, Varanasi, Deoria, Delhi, and Ahmedabad among others. Each location has been carefully chosen to showcase India's vibrant entrepreneurial landscape and cultural diversity.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit successful enterprises, gain valuable insights from industry leaders and founders, build their own business ideas solving problems of Middle India through a business planning exercise, and learn from the diversity that the Yatra offers.

They will also delve into the core themes of inclusive entrepreneurship, cross-border collaboration, sustainability, and innovation. They will explore how these aspects can drive economic growth, social development, and environmental sustainability, thereby creating a better future for all.
