While spoken word poetry and stand up comedy are still finding their feet in India, these young artists can seem a little alien to the Nawabi Lucknow city. But this doesn’t mean it is unreal or it cannot happen!
Amandeep Singh, Mohammad Sadriwala, and Abhay Kr Sharma are coming to the capital of Uttar Pradesh on 7th April 2018 at IISE Campus, Lucknow in the event Bol – Ki Ye Alfaaz Mere Hai. The event is organized by ISAA (IISE Students Alumni Association) and is all set to give voice to Lucknow.
And we bet if you hear them once, you will want to hear them again and again. They are school in themselves, for the respective skills that they carry. Here’s an insight on the creative speakers who are coming to IISE campus.
Soulful voice. Melting words. Touching stories.
This is the appropriate definition for the finest storyteller in the country, Amandeep Singh. He is witty yet sensitive. He compels people to fall in love with his magical stories.
If you don’t believe us, have a look at this story by him - Baarish.
A perfect narration of the beauty of a relationship and the fact it will last forever. It actually doesn’t seem to be any one person’s story. It seems to Ben our story. Such is the magic of Amandeep - connecting better than Facebook and painting better than dyes.
Strong subjects. Pricking questions. Cutting emotions.
Another rising star, Mohammad Sadriwala, can be referred to as the man with a mission. He weaves social feelings into stories, communicating the little things that actually make a difference.
You’ll get what we exactly want to say once you hear him telling why he feels - Proud to be born in India.
It’s an emotion that connects everyone’s of us. But not everyone can communicate it so well. That’s the aura of this person. The man in the white cap is following the grooves of Urdu poetry to sensitively address social feelings.
Abhay Kumar Sharma
Motivating light. Positive laughs. Brilliant attitude.
We are referring to the man, Abhay Sharma, who made his life a walk to remember with his comic skills. His punches hit so hard in the stomach that ROFL becomes mandatory.
Check out a glimpse of his performance from The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and don’t ignore the laugh of Akshay Kumar.
Being visually challenged, make no difference to his humor. It is his comic timing that has given him the satisfaction of staying alive. We can challenge you for holding back in your chairs because you’ll definitely roll holding your stomachs.
And you may even cry listening to the other two too. These people are always there to provide pure and unadulterated entertainments.
So, here’s a loud shout out to all who want to spend their Saturday well and have not made any plans yet (you can even cancel your movie this time and thank us later) - come join the audience at Lucknow.
