The Dhak Dhak Girl, the Dancing Diva of Bollywood and an accomplished Kathak dancer, is crossing her 50 today. Madhuri Dixit was born to Shankar Dixit and Snehlata Dixit on May 15, 1967.
Never Wanted To Be An Actor
She was not at all interested to be the part of Bollywood, but in 1984, she was dragged in the movie “Abodh”, which marked her debut. To your surprise, she has a degree in Microbiology. She was praised by her Guru, Pandit Birju Maharaj, to be the best dancer in Bollywood.
In 1999, she took a sabbatical from Bollywood and married Dr. Nene in Los Angeles. There only, she gave birth to two of her sons, Rayaan and Arin. After that, she never appeared in films, but her performances and dancing skills remain to today’s actresses.
