Indian Idol began its journey in the year 2004 with its producer and Ashok and its jazzy-melodious theme music by Julian Gingell, Barry Stone, Cathy Dennis.

3. Prashant Tamang - Indian Idol Season 3 (2007) Winner

Prashant Tamang was the winner of Indian Idol for season 3 that was conducted in the year 2007 and Aman Verma was replaced by Hussain Kuwajerwala who, along with Mini Mathur and both they hosted the season with a lot of energy and life.

He won a 10 million Indian rupees cash prize and a Maruti Suzuki SX4 as an Indian Idol winner.

4. Sourabhee Debbarma - Indian Idol Season 4 (2008-2009) Winner

Sourabhee Debbarma was the winner for season 4 that was conducted in the year 2008-09 and, Mini Mathur was has replaced by Meiyang Chang who hosted the show along with Hussain Kuwajerwala.

The winner’s most popular songs include - “Faryaadein”, “O Haseena”.

She was the first female winner of the Indian Idol series and also holds a Guinness World record.

5. Sreerama Chandra Mynampati - Indian Idol Season 5 (2010) Winner

Sreerama Chandra Mynampati was the Indian Idol Winner for season 5 that was conducted in the year 2010 and this show was once again hosted by the duo- Hussain Kuwajerwala, Meiyang Chang.

The winner’s most popular songs include - “Allah Duhai Hai" from Race 3 and “Anaganaganaga” from Oh Baby!
