7 BTS Members Who Form The Purple Army

Currently, the world's most well-known musical band. BTS is an acronym for BANGTAN SONYEONDAN, which is in Korean for "bulletproof boys scouts." But as part of its brand-new brand identity, BTS declared in 2017 that its name will also stand for "beyond the scene." BTS members have achieved great success for themselves, and the South Korean boy band has amassed an incredible global fan base. The ARMY, or "Adorable Representative MC for Youth," is the name of their followers.

There are just seven BTS members. Jungkook, Jimin, V, J-Hope, Suga, Jin, and RM,   are some of their stage names.

BTS once had financial difficulties despite being now a household name. As bizarre as it may sound, they formerly shared a one-room apartment. It took the band around 3 years to break into the public eye; they were not an overnight sensation. For the group, Big Hit Entertainment held auditions in 2010. But the group didn't make its public debut until 2013.

1) Jung Kook: Main Vocals

Jeon Jeong-Guk, commonly referred to as Jung Kook, was born in Busan, South Korea, on September 1, 1997. He is the main vocalist, dancer, and singer for the South Korean band Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS.

He is the hip-hop group's youngest member.

He made his singing debut for BTS as the lead vocalist in 2013 at the age of 15. Kook is one of the three tenors and one baritone who make up the core vocal line of BTS. He is also referred to as "golden Maknae" by the BTS members and their Army.

The American television program "Euphoria" on HBO featured the solo song "Euphoria" by Jung Kook. 

He is the youngest person to ever win Musician of the Year at the Korean Music Awards.

Jung Kook is primarily well-known for his vocals and consistency, JK has a stunning voice that is remarkably steady and vibrant.

2) V: Vocals

Kim Tae-Hyung, better known by his stage name V, was born on December 30, 1995, in the Seo District of Daegu, South Korea. Under the banner of Big Hit Music, Taehyung works as a singer-songwriter, producer, and actor. He sings, performs dances, and appears in BTS's videos.

The tracks "Scenery," "Winter Bear," and "Sweet Night" were all self-produced by him as a solo artist. He made his film debut in the 2016 drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, using his birth name.

Taehyung is well known for his adorable personality, odd habits, and overall dorkiness. He is not only a stage idol but also a standout performer on television. No other idols compare to Taehyung in regards to appearance, personality, and charisma, which is why the BTS members and army loves him!

In the list of "The Most Handsome Faces of 2022," he ranked first.

3) Jimin: Lead Vocalist

Park Ji-min, best known by his stage name Jimin, was born on 13, October 1995 in the Geumjeong District of Busan, South Korea. Jimin is a recording artist with Big Hit Music and a songwriter.

He is a part of the BTS boy band. He has two self-produced solo tracks "Promise" in 2018 and "Christmas Love" in 2020. Jimin has held the #1 spot in the brand reputation rankings for particular boy group idols for 27 straight months as of 2021.

Jimin is a charming and attractive man. He is known as a great dancer and humble person.

Jimin is one of the BTS members who has been awarded the 2019 King of K-Pop.

4) SUGA: Rapping

Min Yoon-gi, also known by his stage names SUGA and Agust D, was born in Daegu, South Korea, on March 9, 1993. He works with Big Hit Music as a rapper, composer, and record producer. BTS member SUGA is a rapper best known for having a significant role in songwriting and serving as the group's primary music producer. The name of his production facility is "Genius Lab."

He has two mixtapes under his name: Agust D from 2016 and D-2 from 2020. He enjoys sleeping, being in peaceful areas, and finding less-crowded areas. He is frequently referred to as "Grandpa" by his fellow BTS members.

He has won the hearts of countless music fans throughout the globe. His teen fan base is enormous.

Suga was elevated to full membership in the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2018.

5) Jin: Vocals

Kim Seok-jin, also known by his stage name Jin, was born in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, on December 4, 1992. Under the Big Hit Music label, he produces music and performs as a singer-songwriter. He is one of the more senior BTS members. Since BTS' debut, he has drastically improved both his singing and dancing. His compassionate, modest, and humorous personalities are well known to all.

Three of his songs, "Tonight" in 2019, "Abyss" in 2020, and "Super Tuna" in 2021, have been released by him as a solo artist.

He is the first K-pop idol to receive 100 million hearts on V-live at his birthday live event in 2017.

By both himself and the ARMYs, he is referred to as "Worldwide Handsome."

6) RM: Rapping

Kim Nam-Joon, better known by his stage moniker RM, was born on September 12, 1994, in the South Korean city of Dongjak-gu. He is a rapper, songwriter, and music producer signed to Big Hit Music. He is a member of the boy band BTS. RM is renowned among BTS members for having a significant creative and production role in the group's records.

He has two mixtapes under his name: RM in 2015 and Mono in 2018. RM was elevated to the rank of a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2020.

He has a strong commitment to the LGBTQ+ community. Around RM, BTS was developed. He is the lone employee who has been with the company since 2010, the first employee to be scouted.

7) J-hope: Rapping

The performer Jung Ho-Seok, sometimes known as J-hope, His birth took place in Gwangju, South Korea, on February 18, 1994. Rapper, composer, and record producer J-hope works for Big Hit Music. He performs as a rapper and dancer for BTS and is also well known for having a significant creative and producing role in the group's music.

On March 2, 2018, he released his debut mixtape as a solo artist, titled Hope World. On July 15, 2022, he released his first full-length album, Jack In The Box, marking his official solo debut.

J-hope received a promotion to full membership in the Korea Music Copyright Association in 2020.

Among the BTS members, j-hope is known as the "sunshine" of the group because of his upbeat and enthusiastic nature. On Spotify, he has the highest number of Korean solo fans. Surpassing G-Dragon of BIGBANG.
