Ranbir Kapoor is a nepotism product but one of the finest actors of his age who aces every role perfectly. He is the grandson of Raj Kapoor and son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. He made his debut in 2007 with Sawariya, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie alongside Sonam Kapoor. For the same movie, he also won the Best Debut Male Filmfare award.

His last movie was Sanju, a biography on Sanjay Dutt. He has a release next year with Alia Bhatt Bhramastra. Currently, he is the talk of the town for her relationship with Alia Bhatt, however he has never confirmed it.

Katrina Kaif is another actress of Bollywood who is an outsider and didn’t even know Hindi but has made a mark in India through her movies. She is from Britain. She made her debut in 2003 with movie boom which didn’t do well at the box office. However, the movie starred big stars such as Amitabh Bachchan and Grover. But she gained success and recognition after working with Salman Khan in 2005 in the movie Maine Pyaar Kiya.

Her last movie was Angreji Medium (2020) which was a special appearance for the song “kudi nu nachne de". She has completed Suryavanshi alongside Akshay Kumar which is set to release next year. Currently, rumors are that she is dating Vicky Kaushal but none of them has confirmed.

Plot: Prem (Ranbir Kapoor) is a good-for-nothing gold-hearted boy. He meets Jenny (Katrina Kaif) and after a few meetings, he falls in love with her. At first, she sees him as only a friend and claims to be in love with Rahul (Upen Patel) but things change when she becomes more self-aware with herself.

Hit or flop: The film turned out to become a blockbuster of the year. It was well-appreciated by the audiences as well as the critics at the theatres. According to the Box office India, the overall collection of the film was Rs. 62.84 crores, emerging as the third biggest grosser of 2009.

Soundtrack: The soundtrack received generally favorable reviews from critics. Samir Dave of Planet Bollywood gave it a rating of 7.5/10 and said, "If you are looking for an enjoyable potpourri of different musical styles, and melody, then you will love what Pritam has served up for, "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani". The songs of this movie played a huge role in making this movie an instant hit. In total this movie has 14 songs.

2. Raajneeti (2010)

Plot: The movie is claimed to be inspired from Mahabharata. Samar (Ranbir Kapoor), the son of a political family, has chosen to go to the USA to live with his girlfriend (Sara Thompson). However, the death of his father makes him put his plans on hold and enter the dirty world of politics. When he comes to India he is supported by his friend Indu (Katrina Kaif), who has feelings for him. But Samar is considered a friend only.

Release date: 4 June 2010

Hit or flop: Rajneeti grossed ₹145.5 crores worldwide and was declared a Super-Hit. A sequel is also confirmed by Prakash Jha.

Soundtrack: The score was composed by Wayne Sharpe while the soundtrack was composed by Wayne Sharpe, Pritam, Aadesh Shrivastava, and Shantanu Moitra. The lyrics were written by Irshad Kamil, Gulzar, Sameer, and Swanand Kirkire. The soundtrack consists of five original songs and four remixes. The soundtrack was released by Sony Music India.

3. Jagga Jasoos (2017)

The last one on the list of Katrina Kaif And Ranbir Kapoor Movies is Jagga Jasoos.

Plot: Jagga (Ranbir Kapoor) studies in a boarding school. Upon growing up he becomes curious about his father who disappeared mysteriously. With the help of Shruti (Katrina Kaif), a journalist, he accomplishes his mission.

Release date: 14 July 2017

Hit or flop: This movie was average and failed to impress the audience as well. Critics also had a mixed response about the movie.

Soundtrack: The film is musical and has a total of 29 songs which are part of a narrative since Ranbir Kapoor sang most of his dialogues rather than saying them. T-Series released the film soundtrack album. The songs were composed by Pritam.

Prem's amazing love story

This would be the fourth Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif movie together. This movie is still under discussion. If it happens the director may be Rajkumar Santoshi. The cast is also not finalized but Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Upen Patel, Salman Khan, and Darshan Jariwala are being considered.

If everything goes alright the movie will be on floors till 2024-25. Let’s hope for the best.
