Vogue India is the first Bollywood fashion magazine released in India with 100% foreign ownership. One of the 17 International editions of the Vogue fashion magazine is Vogue India. The first issue of Vogue India was released on 20th September 2007. 

Bipasha Basu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Gemma Ward were on the regular cover of Vogue India, whereas Preity Zinta, Lakshmi Menon, and Monikangana Dutta on the gatefold cover. The cost of the first-ever Vogue India fashion magazine was INR 100. 

However, Vogue India has faced certain backlash due to featuring of an American model on the 10 anniversary “Indian affair”. The Bollywood fashion magazine was criticised for not having Indian model, whereas recently Vogue India was criticized for having Suhana Khan in its cover which was criticized for supporting nepotism. 

In Vogue India August edition, Hailey Bieber talked about natural beauty and was again in news. Yet, the most popular Bollywood fashion magazine in India is Vogue India. 2) Verve


 

Next in our list of Bollywood fashion magazines is Verve. Verve is India’s premier and only home-grown luxury and lifestyle magazine for women, published since 1995. Verve Bollywood fashion magazine is an Indian magazine, not owned or run by a foreign company. 

Verve is known for its strong people-focus. It is known for its in-depth interviews with famous people and has also brought new talents through their stories. Verve started in 1995 and it became bi-monthly (coming out every 2 months) in 2005 and finally made the change over to a monthly in 2007 to cope up with the high demand.

Femina, the oldest women magazine in the country, is owned by worldwide media, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Times group.
