Pata aaj mai aise hi wonder kar rahi thi
Like har jaga competition everyone wants to be best but shouldn’t we give more emphasis to growing rather than achieving. Furthermore I believe success will vary from person to person you know an increment of 500 can also mean a lot to a person and that person can term that as a success as well, and a person getting a promotion and increment of 1 lakh can still be unhappy because his expectation would be higher than the reality.
I personally believe it’s what you make of it. It’s what you want from life like slow down and evolve gradually or rush anxiously with burden of future.
And parents expecting from their children is not bad but expectations shouldn’t be limitless they should focus more on the rewards and not on the awards ( metaphorically).
Just an real life example:-
There were 3 siblings
The elder on earned 1,50,000 and the second sibling earned only 14,000 one day the 3rd sibling asked both his siblings to send him some money the first sibling gave him 5000 out of his 1,50,000 and the second sibling gave him 5000 from her 14,000.
So, it’s not always the same case one needs to focus on the efforts of the person rather than making a comparison.
