1. V Company – Dance Plus Winner Season 1 (2015)
Hailing from Vasai, the historical city surrounding the western suburbs of Mumbai, V company became the first-ever winners of the Dance Plus series.
Under the guidance of Dharmesh Yelande, they managed to shine throughout the season and come out as the winners after battling it out with Hardik Rawat from the same team and Question Mark Crew from team Sumeet in the finale.
The Question Mark Crew came a close second and ended up becoming the first runner ups of the season.
The winning team took home Rs 25 lakh as the prize money along with a Maruti Suzuki Swift.
2. Tanay Malhara - Dance Plus Winner Season 2 (2016)
14 years old Tanay Malhara (currently 19) won everyone’s hearts with his passion for dance and ended up winning the 2nd season of Dance Plus after a final battle with Wild Ripperz Crew from Nepal in the finale.
Both the finalists were from team Dharmesh Yelande and managed to flourish throughout the season under his guidance.
This season saw a replacement in the judges with Punit Pathak replacing Sumeet Nagdev as the third judge/mentor.
With prize money of Rs 25 lakh and a car, Tanay managed to make his parents proud at a very young age while inspiring millions of others to do the same.
3. Bir Radha Sherpa - Dance Plus Winner Season 3 (2017)
Hailing from Silchar, Assam, Bir Radha Sherpa became the winner of the 3rd Dance Plus winner and did the entire country proud, especially northeast.
With the northeast being neglected most of the time, an achievement of this magnitude, brought to the 7 sisters by Bir Radha Sherpa was like a shining beacon in the darkness.
Under the guidance of mentor Puneet, Bir Radha Sherpa managed to win millions of hearts across the country and won the final battle with Amardeep Singh Natt from Team Dharmesh taking home the prize money of Rs 25 lakh along with the shining Dance Plus trophy.
4. Chetan Salunkhe - Dance Plus Winner Season 4 (2018)
With guidance from mentor Puneet, Chetan Salunkhe from Pune became the 4th Dance Plus winner.
His unique style of dancing gained him the nickname ‘Chain and Popping Badshah’ and also brought him massive popularity amongst celebrities.
Out of twelve contestants, four made it to the finale, with two contestants from team Dharmesh and team Punit each. Chetan Salunkhe came of the finale as the winner with the duo of Sujan and Aanchal from team Dharmesh coming a close second.
Similar to the former winners, Chetan took home Rs 25 lakhs as the prize money along with the Dance Plus trophy.
This season witnessed not one but two hosts. Sugandha Mishra was seen sharing the stage with Raghav Juyal doubling the entertainment.
5. Rupesh Bane - Dance Plus Winner Season 5 (2019)
20 year old (currently 21) Rupesh Bane became the 5th Dance Plus winner, the last one as of yet, and brought pride to the city of Dombivili in Maharashtra.
This season was again hosted by Raghav and Sugandha together and was joined by 2 new judges, Karishma and Suresh who together replaced Shakti Mohan from the previous 2 seasons.
Rupesh (team Dharmesh) faced Janam Crew and the duo of Subrato and Sanchita from team Punit in the finale and came out victorious, taking home the shiny Dance Plus trophy along with Rs 15 lakh as prize money.
Janam's crew came a close second and were declared the first runner-ups of the season.
No matter how many times you say no to invitations to join the dance floor, when that one song comes up the inner Michael Jackson always comes peeking through.
