Zoonoses

Zoonoses refer to the diseases that spread from animals to humans and vice-versa. The methods of socioeconomic assessment of zoonoses are largely based on epidemiological assessment.The basic approach in controlling or preventing a disease is to identify the weak linkages in the chain of transmission.Examples of zoonoses include Brucellosis,Anthrax, Q-fever etc.
