Why Successful People Wear the Same Clothes everyday
Successful people watch how they spend their decision-making power. Many people use all of it for small things when they should be saving it for big things.
It doesn’t matter what decision you make, what business you will start, or what you are gonna eat today is the same thing for the brain and requires the same amount of effort.
Successful people save their decision energy by hiring chefs and by wearing the same clothes every day. It doesn’t mean you need to stink but have like 5 pairs of black jeans, 4 white T-shirts, and so on.
You save a huge amount of energy when you fix those daily tasks which shouldn’t even be taking up your decision energy.
They do not care how they look, they care about what their business is doing. When you do this you will have a lot more energy to save on the things that really matter later in the day.
Here are some things you can do to save some decision fatigue:
Wear the same things, pick your favorite clothes, and buy them in bulk
Plan tomorrow today, so that when we wake up tomorrow we don’t have to think about what we have to do today. (most people think about doing more than doing)
Lift the big rocks first (work on the decision that matters the most in the morning)

Plan broadly and the day before, plan laser specifically. Because plans can change if you planned for 30 days but one day before they are not gonna change that much usually.
The truth of it is, it’s fun to not be prepared for tomorrow and have no plan. But if you want to achieve success you need to plan tomorrow today.
And you need to do small incremental things which later produce big results.
Never lose your discipline, that’s the biggest tip you could ever receive.
Decision fatigue is real, you need to check the studies on judges and juries and commercial pilots are restricted to just making so many miles at a time.
The more decisions you make, the worse they are, that’s why you want to lift big rocks first. Save your decision energy for the things that matter!
It’s better for me to do the gym in the morning so that then I don’t think about it the whole day, I just do it in the morning and it’s done.
You should never be wasting time from 9–15, that’s the time you should be doing progress and lifting the big rocks.
The things that suck decision energy are variables, every variable acts like one more decision.
Save the things like checking emails for the last thing of the day. You don’t need to be I don’t know how much energy to make good decisions there.
Try to eliminate as many variables as possible today, which you can do with batching your meals on the weekend, wearing the same clothes,…
Conclusion
Successful people wear the same clothes to save decision energy to use toward things that matter. Save the small things for the end of the day. Try to get as less variables as possible. Move the big rocks first, wear the same clothes, and batch your meals. Get your workouts done in the morning.
That's how to get better at making decisions and that's why successful people do it because 2 to 3 big decisions a year is more than enough.
