Why I'm Killing Time Until God of War Ragnarok

Sometime ago, I told myself that I am not going to fully invest in starting another game or replaying a game on one of my old consoles.

The reason being is that God of War Ragnarok is coming out in less than a week and a half, I wanted to be sure I was ready.

I am, for the most part, I am currently playing through the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC on Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Very clever and time-consuming this DLC, but it is worth every bit of the money I spent. I haven't touched my PS5 since I beat Sniper Elite 5.

A good game that, it really kind of gets you into the game and make you really see what time was like in that period.

God of War Ragnarok is going to be huge, I am preparing for it by just waiting until it arrives before I focus my attention on it fully.

Now, from what I've already learned about the game, its going to be over 40+ hours long with sidequests numbering somewhere in the 20s but that's just a rough estimate.

If you are playing a new game or just started a new game or an old game, stop it right now. Trust me, if you're hyped for that Ragnarok like me, you're not going to want to focus on anything or anyone else.

I'm killing time until God of War Ragnarok comes out because I'm going to focus all of my attention on beating that game then I'm going to redirect my attention back toward games like Grandia III, Record of the Lodoss War, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, Castlevania Mirror of Fate and a few others.

As I said I'm playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, I'm not trying to drag my feet on it but I've been working lately and I've been so physically tired from the job.

I thought I had some reserve energy where I could bounce back, but once I sit down in my game chair, I don't want to get back up but I do it for my kids.

I even came up with this really good idea that whatever game I'm playing, I'd stop that and move onto God of War Ragnarok.

Personally, I got my PS5 resting up for the big day. How awesome is this, my pay day falls on the same day as God of War Ragnarok.

See, I have Chime. Everyone on my job gets paid on the 11th of next month, I get paid on 9th. Awesome right?

I came to this conclusion a short while ago while I was estimating the date in which my paycheck drops.

As far as my job goes, I'm getting it but I'm a little worried that they might be expecting too much too soon. I understand training the new guy is going to take some serious time and energy, but I feel like it might take me a little longer.

I hope it doesn't but in a small way, I get the feeling it will. You know, I probably would've beaten Record of the Lodoss War, a game I have on my PS5 if I had given it some serious time but I didn't want to take any chances.

God of War Ragnarok is going to take all of my gaming cunning and strategic ability to get thru, I welcome this!

So for all of you who haven't gotten God of War Ragnarok pre-ordered, you're running out of time. The game is going to be out in a little while so get your ass up out your seat and get your money ready! You have been warned!
