Why Do I Feel Like I Sometimes Just Can’t?
Why Do I Feel Like I Sometimes Just Can’t?
Not to sound like one of those medicine infomercials that discuss the upsides and benefits of taking certain prescription medicine to suppress depression or anxiety, but do you just sometimes feel like you can’t with life?
If you know the feeling I am describing right now, then we are on the right track.
This past weekend I endured that painful feeling, the feeling in which your mind feels as if it’s collapsing onto itself. The feeling of society not accepting you as an equal. The feeling of believing you will never make it anywhere in life.
Well, I’m sorry to tell you, but from experience, nobody fully knows what you are undergoing at that moment.
It is a very tough pill to swallow, given that you are so helpless and cannot help yourself individually, but that is the harsh reality of this problematic mental condition.
I wanted to write a quick short and brief post about the ways you can counteract these feelings and to always remember that what you think may be internal, but what you can do physically is all external.
Be sure to remember that you fit in, regardless of how much you believe that you don’t, that your life is meaningless and equivalent to that as if you have never even been born. No, you are important. You are valuable to many peoples’ well-being, and you sure as hell do matter.
If you feel insignificant, remember this question I’m asking you.
“If you’re so insignificant, then why did God put you on this planet in the first place?”
We are equal. We are united, and united we stand, but divided we fall.
