What Can We Expect From Cobra Kai Season 5?
When Cobra Kai season 5 was revealed to release this upcoming September, I was very excited since Cobra Kai has an effect on me that only a certain limited number of shows do.
After last season, I was not to fond of the outcome of certain characters, such as Miguel Diaz, and Hawk. Hawk especially, I was disappointed with his characters change up in the fourth season, all because of drama that he would normally not care about. Yes, I get he has changed, but I preferred the former Hawk better.
Without further ado, lets stop dwelling on setbacks, and start focusing on comebacks.
Terry Silver is going to prove to be an absolute menace this coming season. After last seasons ending with him framing John Kreese for assaulting our favorite chubby character Stingray and getting him arrested for it, he has now removed all obstacles and distractions in front of him to see the bigger picture.
With Cobra Kai now having won the All Valley Tournament, with their lead senseis being reduced to only a lead sensei with that being in the shows antagonist Terry Silver, we can expect some trouble.
Daniel LaRusso has not given up hope yet however, with him teaming up with a former foe, now turned friend; Chozen. Together, they will train until their last breath, punch with their last bits of energy, and take down the desolate Terry Silver.
Johnny Lawrence’s storyline is one I am very excited to see play out, as set photos have revealed to us that him and his son Robby Keene are going to travel together to Mexico in order to save Miguel from a mistake just waiting to be made.
Miguel left town at the end of last season to follow pursuit of his own escapades in finding his father, but we also learned that his mother Carmen revealed that Miguel’s father is unaware of his existence!
With Robby assisting Johnny on this mission to rescue Miguel which is basically what Robby stands against is a mission that I cannot wait to see unfold.
I would mention other characters such as Sam, Kreese, and Tory, but as of right now I am currently unknown to any information regarding their own seperate storylines.
Yes Kreese may be in jail but it was just left at that. Will he meet an old friend in there that served a life sentence years ago? Will he harden his cold black heart even more by becoming the toughest guy in the building? We won’t know until this September.
If you are excited for season 5 of Cobra Kai as much as I am, comment down below your favorite character, and season of this series.
