It is getting popular, but still the demand for this kind of solar inverters is still in its primitive state, if we talk about India in particular.

Micro- Solar

These solar inverters are generally referred to as ‘micros. They have a direct connection with a solar panel for converting direct current DC into a usable current.

Hybrid Solar

These are just like string solar inverters. Though, there is a need for a direct connection to a storage battery system for advanced self-sufficiency. So, they are called battery-ready inverters.

The inverter companies always try to manufacture hybrid inverters with a basic power backup. They are expensive; though, with tech advancements, companies are doing their best to reduce the cost.
