The main character of this book are Tate (who is a nurse) and Miles (who is a pilot). Tate is in deep love with Miles even though she knows that she can’t expect the same from Miles.

Miles past has consumed him so much that he is in no position to love someone again, he has lived the ugly side of love and he afraid to live it again.

Unknown from his past Tate still falls in Love with him and they agree to have only physical relation with no strings attached.
