Travelling to the North East of India has always been on my bucket list for me due to its pristine landscapes, warm and welcoming people, and unique and diverse culture. Ever since I decided to travel with Thrillophilia, I knew that I had made the best decision to make this trip memorable, thanks to the number of positive reviews of Thrillophilia I came across.

I landed at the Guwahati airport and was greeted by a Thrillophilia executive who took us on a long but visually appealing road trip to Shillong- the capital of Meghalaya. On the way we stopped by at Umiam Lake to click some pictures and I was blown away by its sheer beauty. It was at that moment I realised that this trip was going to give me a lot of core memories. We proceeded to the hotel in Shillong to rest overnight. It was neat and clean and since it also had all the amenities I expected, I was already excited for the upcoming days ahead.

The next day, after breakfast, the tour representative took us to Cherrapunji- the wettest place on earth. On the way, we admired the view of the city from Shillong Peak. The day consisted of checking out the Garden of Caves, Elephant Falls, and Seven Sister Falls to give a glimpse of what the natural beauty of the North East looks like. The day concluded with heading back to the hotel after dinner.

The following day, I headed to Bhalukpong town located on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh known for its adventure activities and the. We checked into a hotel and spent the rest of the evening in leisure, gearing up for the upcoming days.

The next day, I checked out to travel to Dirang. Before that, I stopped by at Tipi which is located on the banks of the Bharali river and is known for its 500 orchids. The Thrillophilia representative was so thoughtful to help me take a break in the trip from all the travelling and recommended that I visit the Nag temple. After that, we checked into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Here comes another exciting part of the trip- the journey to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. On the way, I admired the views of the Sela Pass and Sela Lake and even paid my respects to the martyrs of the Indian armed forces at the JaswantGarh War Memorial. After a brief stopover at Nuranang Falls, the day concluded.

On the last day, I checked out of Tawang and went to Bomdila to visit the Rabgye Ling Monastery and the Gatsel Ling Monastery. I unwinded by shopping at the local market and called it a day.

A trip to the northeast is incomplete without the view of the mighty Brahmaputra River. I returned to Guwahati and I stopped by places like the Kamakhya Temple and the Regional Science Centre before returning to the hotel.

I didn't want the trip to end when my Thrillophilia representative dropped me at the Guwahati airport. The entire trip was meticulously planned by the team and I was impressed by their professionalism. This trip will continue to be a core memory for me and the positive reviews of Thrillophilia were genuine. Kudos to the team!
