The youth are developing their own voice by speaking on certain issues of society that get discussed on social media platforms. Certain career opportunities are also flourishing due to social media and are considered full-time opportunities by the younger generation.

Well, every coin has two sides. Likewise, social media also impacts youth positively as well as negatively. Extensive use of social media leads to situations like distance from reality, a sense of loneliness, and depression. There are several reports presented that reveal that youth are suffering from depression and that various mental health problems are caused. On the other side, scrolling feeds continuously for long hours and a lack of physical activity may cause health problems like obesity. Moreover, disturbances caused by notifications lead to frequent distractions during study time. There are many exemplary cases of cybercrimes through social media that are hovering in front of us.
