As someone who recently embarked on a 10-day trip to Goa with Thrillophilia, I had the chance to explore Goa from multiple angles, all thanks to their thoughtfully crafted itineraries. In this article, I will share my honest review of the entire experience, including a day-by-day breakdown of the activities, so that you can decide if this is the right way to experience the best of Goa.

Day 1: Arrival in Goa & Introduction to North Goa
After a smooth flight from my home city, I arrived in Goa, where Thrillophilia's local guide was waiting to welcome me. The first day was all about easing into the Goan atmosphere. I was transported to my hotel, located in the lively area of North Goa, where the first taste of Goa’s beaches awaited.
The day included a leisurely stroll along Calangute Beach, followed by a sunset view at Baga Beach. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Goa's stunning coastline. Thrillophilia also arranged for an evening boat ride on the Mandovi River, which was an excellent way to relax and witness the beauty of the Goan countryside.
Day 2: Exploring North Goa Beaches
Thrillophilia had arranged a full day for exploring the most popular beaches in North Goa. The day started with a visit to the pristine Anjuna Beach. This beach is famous for its vibrant vibe, bustling flea markets, and famous beach shacks. I was given ample time to explore the market and even try some local delicacies like Goan fish curry and bebinca (a traditional dessert).
Later, I visited Vagator Beach, where I could escape the crowds and find tranquility. Thrillophilia’s itinerary also included a visit to Chapora Fort, where the iconic Bollywood film “Dil Chahta Hai” was shot. The fort offered a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea.
Day 3: Cultural Heritage & Forts
On the third day, I delved into Goa’s rich cultural heritage. Thrillophilia’s curated tour took me to Old Goa, where I explored the historic Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These churches were a beautiful reminder of Goa’s colonial past.
In the afternoon, I visited Aguada Fort, a well-preserved Portuguese structure that dates back to the 17th century. From the fort, I enjoyed stunning views of the sea and coastline. Thrillophilia’s knowledgeable guides provided in-depth historical insights, making the visit informative and enriching.
Day 4: Spice Plantations and Waterfalls
A change of scenery was in store for me on Day 4. I was taken to the Sahakari Spice Plantation, located in the lush Western Ghats. The plantation tour was an immersive experience, where I learned about various spices like cardamom, nutmeg, and vanilla, and how they’re cultivated. The experience was enhanced with a traditional Goan lunch prepared with fresh spices.
In the afternoon, Thrillophilia arranged a trip to Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of India’s tallest waterfalls. A jeep safari took me through rugged terrain, allowing me to get up close to the majestic falls. The mist and cool breeze from the waterfall made it a refreshing experience.
Day 5: South Goa Beaches
After exploring the northern part of the state, Day 5 was dedicated to the serene and less crowded beaches of South Goa. Thrillophilia had planned a relaxing day with visits to Colva Beach, Benaulim Beach, and Palolem Beach. South Goa is much quieter than North Goa, and I enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and tranquil waters perfect for swimming.
The highlight of the day was a kayaking tour at Palolem Beach. Paddling through the crystal-clear water, surrounded by palm trees and hills, was a memorable experience. This was a great way to explore the coastline at my own pace.
Day 6: Island Hopping Adventure
One of the best experiences of my trip came on Day 6: Island Hopping. Thrillophilia offers a fantastic package that takes travelers to some of the lesser-known islands off the coast of Goa, including Grand Island and Monkey Island. I set off early in the morning on a speedboat from Sinquerim Beach, cruising past rocky islands and pristine waters.
We stopped at Grand Island to enjoy some water sports, including snorkeling and scuba diving. The underwater world was a colorful spectacle, with schools of fish and vibrant coral reefs. After the thrilling water activities, we enjoyed a picnic lunch on a secluded beach.
Day 7: Wildlife Safari and Bird Watching
Thrillophilia also organizes wildlife safaris for nature lovers, and Day 7 was dedicated to exploring Goa’s rich wildlife. I visited the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, where I embarked on a safari to spot animals like sambars, deer, and monkeys. The sanctuary is also home to an impressive variety of birds, and I spent some time birdwatching, with the help of an expert guide.
In the evening, I visited Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary near the Mandovi River. This lush, green area is home to numerous species of migratory birds and is a paradise for birdwatching enthusiasts.
Day 8: Water Sports and Adventure Activities
Thrillophilia’s adventure tours are perfect for adrenaline junkies. On Day 8, I had a blast participating in various water sports at Candolim Beach. I tried parasailing, banana boat rides, and even attempted windsurfing. The instructors were extremely helpful, and I felt safe throughout all the activities.
After a fun-filled day at the beach, Thrillophilia also arranged a thrilling ATV ride through the Goan countryside. The terrain was challenging but fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Day 9: Shopping and Nightlife
A visit to Goa wouldn’t be complete without experiencing its vibrant shopping and nightlife scene. On Day 9, Thrillophilia took me on a guided shopping tour of the famous Mapusa Market, where I bought souvenirs, jewelry, and Goan handicrafts.
The evening was dedicated to exploring Goa’s vibrant nightlife. I visited Tito’s and Mambo’s, two of the most famous clubs in Baga. The music, drinks, and dancing created an unforgettable atmosphere, and I had a fantastic time.
Day 10: Relaxation and Departure
On the final day, I had the option to either relax at the beach or indulge in a rejuvenating spa experience. I chose the latter and enjoyed a traditional Goan Ayurvedic massage, which was the perfect way to unwind after an action-packed 9 days. In the afternoon, I was transferred to the airport for my flight back home.
