Smt. Hari Chandana Dasari is a dynamic IAS officer known for her innovative, people-centric, and environmentally driven governance. With a strong academic foundation in economics and public policy, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Science, and Public Administration from St. Ann’s College, Hyderabad, an MA in Political Science from the University of Hyderabad, and an MSc in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE).

Before joining the civil services, she gained valuable experience in international organizations, including the World Bank and BP Shell in London. Choosing public service over a high-profile corporate career, she returned to India to contribute directly to grassroots transformation.

Currently serving as the Collector of Hyderabad District (appointed June 2025), she has built a reputation for pioneering initiatives rooted in sustainability, innovation, and compassion.

She established the country’s first dedicated pet park, reviving a former dumping ground into an engaging, eco-friendly community space.
