Shawn Mendes is a Grammy-nominated, award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter who first rose to fame as an internet star at 14 thanks to his vines. Now defunct, video-sharing platform, Vine was popular among teens to upload funny, six-second looping video clips. Shawn used Vine for his covers of popular songs.

One of his covers, which accumulated over 10,000 likes overnight, Was the chorus from Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me." In the next four months, he grew to 300,000 followers on Vine and Twitter! Before Vine shut down in 2016, he had already established a fan base and had over half a billion views.

I'm conditioned to feel like it makes me less of a man."

Overall the song 'Wonder' is an emotional roller coaster with a dash of vulnerability.

With his fourth album, Shawn Mendes has tremendously grown as a musician in his song production and his voice from a whimper to plea. Mendes used new, incredibly catchy sounds and beats in his new album 'Wonder' and his evolution is remarkable.

Shawn Mendes has genuinely come far from his "Handwritten" era to 'Wonder,' nearly a concept album, which is a jewel that deserves much more recognition.
