Singing is something, which makes our soul smile. For some, singing is the source of entertainment, for some, singing is the way to escape from the world and for some, singing is the way to talk their heart out.

Singing encourages, entertains, and lifts your soul in an unusual and unpredictable way.

For all those people, who reminisce their soul through a melody of songs, who refresh their soul through songs, there are so many reality shows been going on. One of them, is Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, an Indian gaming show, airs on Zee TV.

Sa re ga ma has been evolving through the years, method of elimination, method of competition, and a theme song. This is one of the oldest reality shows, still going on.

Here is the list of reality show winners, who came up with their fear and triumphed the show with the trophies of the winner. 

1. Sanjeevni Bhelande and Mukund Phansalkar (Season 1) Winners

Sanjeevni Bhelande and Mukund Phansalkar (Season 1) Winners | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

After a tough conquest to all the unbeatable contestants, Sanjeevani Bhelande and Mukund Phansalkar was the pair who triumphed the season 1 of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Runner ups were Tyagraj Khadilkar and Hamsika Iyer.

Season 1 was hosted by Sonu Nigam and the judges were Kumar Saanu, Aadesh Srivastava, Ravi, Raam Laxman, Suresh Wadkar, Anu Malik, Ravindra Jain, Nikhil- Vinay.

Both are now professional singers, Sanjeevani Bhelande is known for her songs in Movie Kareeb and for her book and album, Meera and me.

Mukund Phansalkar has also given some albums.

2. Nobina Mirjaankar and Shivprasad Mallya (Season 2) Winners

Nobina Mirjaankar and Shivprasad Mallya (Season 2) Winners | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Season 2 was aired in 1996. Hosted by Sonu Nigam in a row and judged by Anoop Jalota, Peenaz Masani, Mahendra Kapoor, Sapna Mukherjee, Anil Mohile, Anupama Deshpande, Chandan Das, Shailendra Singh.

Nobina Mirjaankar and Shivprasad Mallya were the pair who originally won the hearts of judges through their melodious voice by giving a hard competition to Mehboob Ali, Chetna Umerji, who were the runner-ups of Season 2.

3. Mohammed Vakil ( Season 3)1998 Winner

In 1998, season 3 was aired on Zee TV, again hosted by Sonu Nigam, and the judges' panel included Tejpal Singh, Surinder Singh, Vishal Bhardwaj.

Mohammed Vakil forfeits the runner-ups, Abhijeet Ghoshal and Shalini.

Mohammed Vakil is a dynamic Ghazal singer. Some of his works are Aaya tere dar par from Veer Zara, Yeh Kasak from movie Kasak, Ye Kab Kaha from movie Tera Khayal and the list goes on.

4. Bela Shende (150th episode celebration)1998

Again Sa Re Ga Ma Pa was aired, in 1998 itself.

This time Bela Shende won the trophy of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner, after giving a tough competition to Mukund Phalsankar, Parthiv Gohil, Sanjeevani Bhelande, and Sudeshna Ganguly.

Judges Panel was comprised of Anil Biswas, Naushad, Kalyanji-Anandji, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Jagjit Singh, Khayyam, Begum Parveen Sultana, Rajkumari, and  O.P Nayyar.

5. Archana Udupa, 1999 Winner

Archana Udupa, 1999 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

In 1999, Archana Udupa managed to go up to the level of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner of the season.

Runner ups were Gaurav Bangya and Poorva.

Judges were Chitra, Kishan Prasad Maharaj, and Pyarelal.

Archana Udupa is now a prominent name. She is the first one, of South Indian origin who won the Hindi singing contest. She sings classical, devotional, and Hindi film songs.

6. Shreya Ghoshal (Season 6) 2000 Winner

Shreya Ghoshal (Season 6) 2000 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Season 6 was aired on Zee tv, in 2000. 

Hosted by Sonu Nigam again and judged by Zakir Husain, Girja Devi, Anil Biswas, Vilayat Khan, Ram Narayan, and Pandit Shivkumar Sharma.

Beautiful and elegant Shreya Ghoshal won the trophy of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa winner.

After that, she never turned back and consistently went up to touch the skies of glory. Now, she is a prominent name in Bollywood.

She won 14 Filmfare and 4 National Awards.

7. Anita Pandit (Season 7) 2001 Winner

Anita Pandit (Season 7) 2001 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma, season 7, was aired in 2001.

Hosted by Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan.

Anita Pandit was crowned as the winner of the trophy of Sa Re Ga Ma winner.

She has given various devotional albums, like, Mazam Raat No Rang, Bhakti Dhara, Kan Sheri Ma Ramo, and many more.

8. Hricha Mukherjee, 2002 Winner

Hricha Mukherjee, 2002 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2002 edition was hosted by Shaan, and jurists were Khayyam, Begum Parveen Sultana, Gulshan Bawra, Ghulam Mustafa, Sitara Devi, Ranjit Barot, and Shobha Gurtu, they were all talented and popular singers.

Hricha Mukherjee triumphed the 2002 edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Hrishikesh Ranade and Ronkini Gupta (World Series) 2004 Winners | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa was aired in 2004 as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa World Series.

Hosted by, the very host of previous editions, Shaan.

Hrishikesh Ranade and Ronkini Gupta were the names emerged as the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa World Series.

Hrishikesh Ranade is a playback singer in the Marathi industry.

Ronkini Gupta is an Indian playback singer. Some of her popular songs are Chaav Laga, Tu hi Aham from movie Sui Dhaaga and Rafu from movie Tumhari Sulu. Nominated for the best playback singer in Filmfare.

10. Debojit (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge) 2005 Winner

Debojit (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge) 2005 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

 Sa Re Ga Ma Pa came as a part 1 of the Challenge Series in 2005.

Hosted by Shaan, the phenomenal singer and judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Jatin- Lalit, Aadesh Srivastava, and Ismail Darbar.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, 2005 was conquested by Debojit Saha.

Debojit is a successful playback singer now and has given many hit albums. He was also given the title,  "Voice of India”.

11. Ujjaini and Aishwarya (Ek Main or Ek Tu) 2006 Winners

Ujjaini and Aishwarya (Ek Main or Ek Tu) 2006 Winners | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Ek Main, or Ek Tu was the second public voting competition.

It was aired on Zee tv in 2006, hosted by Shaan in a row and judged by Leslie Lewis and Hariharan.

There were 18 contestants in 9 pairs. Eventually, Ujjaini and Aishwarya were the pair who went up to the trophy of winner Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Ek Main or Ek Tu.

Ujjaini has given many songs in different languages.

Aishwarya Nigam is praised for his work in Dabangg, for the song ‘’Munni Badnam Hui’’.

“ Maara re sixer maara re four” from the movie Ferrari ki Sawari and “ Tere Mohalle” from the movie Besharam were also sung by Aishwarya Nigam.

12. Aneek Dhar (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge) 2007 Winner

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, 2007 was the second in challenge series.

Hosted by none other than Aditya Narayana, one of the prominent, best singers and judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Ismail Darbar, Bappi Lahiri, and Vishal Shekhar.

Aneek Dhar hailed from West Bengal and piloted to the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, 2007.

Dhar’s first album, Khwaishen, came out in 2008 and won the Kalakar Award in the Best Music Album Category.

13. Vaishali Mhade (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge Series) 2009 Winner

Vaishali Mhade (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge Series) 2009 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2009 was one of its kind and third in the challenge series.

Contestants were divided into four groups i.e. Gharanas under the mentorship of four judges. In this show, three new mentors joined Himesh Reshammiya who was the judge in the previous challenge edition, 2007 i.e. Aadesh Shrivastava, Shankar Mahadevan, and Pritam.

Vaishali Mhade was the winner of Sa re ga ma pa, 2009. She belonged to the Jai Mata Di, Let’s Rock, Himesh Reshammiya's Gharana.

Later on, she sang for many title tracks of the daily soap,

She sang “Pinga” with Shreya Ghoshal from the movie Bajirao Mastani. 

14. Vaishali Mhade, Kaushik Deshpande and Rohit Shyam Raut

In 2009 itself, once again Sa Re Ga Ma Pa aired on ZEE TV as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Challenge. This show was a special edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, seven weekly competitions. There were 8 teams from 8 different states.

This show was aired to celebrate the 1000th episode of the show. Hosted by Vipul Roy and Manish Paul and judged by Sonu Nigam, Pyarelal, and Suresh Wadkar.

The Maharashtra team were held up a winner consisting of Vaishali Mhade, Kaushik Deshpande, and Rohit Shyam Raut.

15. Kamal Khan (Singing Superstar) 2010 Winner

Kamal Khan (Singing Superstar) 2010 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2010 was aired as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar.

Hosted by Purab Kohli and Manish Paul, judged by Daler Mehandi, Sajid- Wajid and Vishal- Shekhar.

Kamal Khan rose as a winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2010, the Singing Superstar.

After Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Kamal Khan never looked back and put his steps in Bollywood and he has given many hit songs.

He won the Zee cine award, “ Fresh Singing Talent 2012” for the song Ishq Sufiyana from the movie, The Dirty Picture.

In 2017, he released a song, Dili Sara, which became the super hit overnight.

16. Jasraj Jayant Joshi (Challenge Series) 2012

Jasraj Jayant Joshi (Challenge Series) 2012 | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2012 was the fifth edition of the challenge series.

Hosted by Javed Ali and the jury consisted of Rahul Ram, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sajid- Wajid.

Jasraj Jayant Joshi has held up the trophy of the winner of Sa re ga ma pa, 2012 after giving a tough competition to Shehnaz Akhtar, Vishwajeet Borwankar, and Mohammed Aman.

Jasraj Joshi is now a successful playback singer.

Some of his prominent songs are Satrangi Re, Rustom, and many more.

17. Kushal Paul, 2016 Winner

Kushal Paul, 2016 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2016 was of its kind competition in the history of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Hosted by Aditya Narayana and mentors consisted of Mika Singh, Pritam Chakraborty and Sajid Wajid.

There was a jury of 30 members, experts of the industry who came up together to judge the best singing talent of a country.

Ultimately, Kushal Paul became the best singing talent of 2016, the winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

18. Ishita Vishwakarma, 2018 Winner

Ishita Vishwakarma, 2018 Winner | Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Winners:

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2018, was aired in October.

Hosted by Aditya Narayana and the original jury consisted of Shekhar Ravijani, Wajid Khan, and Sona Mohapatra.

There were three teams, each named under the name of three mentors.

Ishita Vishwakarma was the talent, who achieved the trophy of the winner, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, 2018. 

She has given several songs also, namely, Bhai ni beni ladki, Aatmnirbhar bharat and Teri Aadatein.

All it needs is, Courage, you have to come out of your fear and insecurities, doesn't matter, what your background is, Reality Shows are for those talents only.

In this listicle, I have mentioned those, who put their fear in a closet and came out as a brave and talented people, and they never have to look back. They all are at some points of glory and fame.

You just have to hold your head up, and your voice will eventually escalate your soul, and this is all one needs.

Reality Shows are just the building blocks. 

So, put your confidence together, held your head high, open your mouth, escalate your soul and the rest will follow.
