Role of Electronic Flow Control in Automobile Part Manufacturing
With the recent technology advancements, the automotive manufacturing is also upgraded with heavy machinery equipped with the computers. Now you can easily control all the processes, machines to prepare and assemble everything more efficiently than in the old times. A flow control plays a vital role in providing strong control over various processes to manufacture the different automobile parts.
Role of Flow Control in Preparing Automobile Parts:
Here we have provided four roles of electronic flow controls:
Stamping:
After gathering the raw material you have to perform the required modification in the metal sheets to make the parts of the vehicles. Stamping process lets you change the shape of the sheet using a die. A hydraulic press having an electric hydraulic flow control valve is used to press or punch the metal against the die to get the desired shape. The presence of flow control makes it possible for you to get the precise pressure that allows you to have the expected output. An inappropriate pressure can destroy the shape of the end product.
Welding:
Once the shaping of the parts is complete, then the next step is to join them together. For this car manufacturers do the quality welding of the parts to join them together. A precise flow of gas is required to perform the quality welding. It can be achieved with the help of an electronic flow control. Because it has the ability to provide a constant flow rate of the gas. Hence a solenoid valve with flow control allows the manufacturers to meet the standards of strength.
Painting:
Once the formation of the parts is completed then the next process is to paint the parts of the body such as the doors and bumpers etc. Nowadays, a pre-set amount of paint is purchased for each car. This paint is applied with the help of a spray. To spray a controlled amount of the liquid paint a digital pressure controller is used in the system that does not let the flow rate increase than the set value. Several layers of the paint coat are done on each part with the help of an electronic flow control.
The exterior of the vehicle is improved to bear the natural disasters with the help of a distributor vacuum control valve that lets you coat a layer of vacuum coating. Ths coating keeps the exterior of your car durable for a long time and enables it to bear the environmental changes.
Assembly:
In this step, all the parts of the vehicle are gathered and are assembled to make the vehicle look fantastic and get ready for the test drive. The wiring, glass, dashboard, seats, mirrors, lights, engine, tires each and everything is attached with the frame. To attach all of these parts pressure air guns are used that tightens the screws with the pressure of the air. To control the pressure of the air an air pressure controller is used. As a result, the assembly process is done fastly and firmly.
Final Words:
Flow rate is a factor that is also essential for the manufacturing of automobile parts. Without maintaining the required flow rate, temperature and pressure you can not get the desired high quality product. That's why Electronic flow controls are an integral part of the automobile parts manufacturing industry.
