New movie Cobra starring Chiyan Vikram as the hero and Srinidhi Shetty as the heroine. Ajay Gnanamuthu directed the movie as a huge action thriller. Let's go and see how this movie that was released today is in review.

Story:
Madi (Vikram) is a maths teacher. However, due to some incidents in his life, he becomes mentally disturbed and commits serious crime. In this order, Madi commits some murders in the international range. On the other hand Bhavana (Sreenidhi Shetty) loves Madi. She tries to convince Madi to marry her. After some dramatic developments, Qadir (another Vikram), out of revenge on Madi, plans to kill him. So who is this Qadir?, why did he hold a grudge against Madi?, what is the story between them?, how did the story of Madi finally turn? Is Madi actually trying to kill Qadir in this whole affair? That is the rest of the story.

Plus Points:
In this movie, which was run by Chiyan Vikram's one man show, Vikram acted brilliantly in the roles of Madi and Qadir. Especially with his body language, Vikram's acting in some emotional and suspenseful sequences became the highlight of the movie. Srinidhi Shetty, who played the heroine, also impressed with her cute looks. Mrinalini Ravi, who played another key role, did not have much scope to act. However, she impressed with her performance.
Irfan Pathan, Mia George and KS Ravikumar who played the other key roles acted well. Irfan Pathan got a good character in this movie. Also the rest of the actors have acted well in their role. The story line taken by the director R Ajay Gnanamuthu and some of the suspense sequences written are good. Especially many scenes in the first half, and some emotional scenes in the second half are impressive.

Minus Points:
Although there is depth in Cobra's story, some scenes were confused. Moreover, the main conflict between the main characters in the main plot is not properly connected. Also the emotion is not valved in. When the original suspense emotional thrilling concept like this is taken, the movie can impress the audience only if the movie goes on in such a way that the movie is exciting and blood-curdling. However, such elements are missing in this movie.
Also some incidents seem too cinematic. Also, some scenes in the second half are not very impressive. Moreover, it is not good to reduce the role of Madi to increase the role of Qadir. In addition to this, they could not build the interspersing play in the film. Hero double characterizations should be written more effectively. Especially Madi's character Taluk's activities are also a minus for the movie.
Moreover, the drama in some scenes has increased and the naturalness of the scenes is lacking. However, the director has made a good effort to make the second half interesting with thrilling elements, but overall he has left the logic at some places

.Technical Department:
Technically, the work of the technical department in the film is good. AR Rahman's music is a plus for the movie. Similarly, the cinematography is the highlight of the film. The cameraman's work in some key scenes is very good. The production values followed by the producers of the movie are good. But it would have been better if director Ajay Gnanamuthu had written an exciting story that would be understandable to everyone and equally appealing.
Verdict:
This Cobra movie, which came as an action thriller, was impressive at some places. Also, this suspenseful crime drama has some thrilling elements as well as some suspenseful scenes. However, many scenes are confused, lack of interest in the screenplay, treatment in some scenes and main characterizations are weak. Otherwise, Vikram's performance in the film is excellent. Some emotions are good too. Overall this film will connect with Vikram fans. However, this movie will not impress the rest of the audiences.
