Pause - a Poetry

In the hustle and bustle full of life,

Sometimes it gets hard even to thrive.

Have you heard of a button that makes time stand still?

It's the 'pause' and always a special thrill.

When every day feels like a whirlwind, oh so fast,

Remember to press that button, it would be a blast,

Then things around you just seem to freeze,

And you may carry out whatever you please.

Take a deep breathe and plan a short break,

To savor those cookies that mom just baked,

Or look at the clouds as they pass on by,

In the endless, infinite sky.

It's a wizard's button, don't you see,

For child like you and child like me,

To live the moment and simply be,

In the dreamland you created, wild and free.

When your life speeds by , don't forget,

The power of the pause, your precious pet,

It's a reward we all should know,

To let the inner peace and happiness grow.
