Jai Narayan PG Collge, proud of giving India various big names like K D Singh Babu, Mohd Shahid, R K Trivedi, Kavita Tiwari, Ashok Bambi, Jaswinder Singh, Ravinder Pal Singh, Syed Ali, Justice U K Dhawan, Sujit Kumar, Syed Rafat Zubair Rizvi, and many more, is celebrating 100 glorious years of its existence.
The week-long celebration, starting from 17th February and ending on 22nd February with Founder's Day Celebration, has a lot many activities on the list. Students from various respected institutes across the city are participating in them in large numbers.
Commencing with Padma Shri K D Singh Singh Babu & Mohd. Shahid Memorial Hockey Tournament, and Smt. Kamla Devi Memorial Girls Kho-Kho Tournament, the programme is filled with a lot of highlights. The final matches of both the tournaments are due on 19th February, inciting both - the players and audiences.
Week Long Events
The college is organizing the felicitation of meritorious students, with the list exceeding over 1000, showing the great academic potential that the college has. A few names from the present day achiever list of JNPG are:

And so on. The college is proud of them and hopes that they inspire other students also. Later in the week, they have an Alumni Meet where old students of the college will join the celebration. This would boost the confidence of students who are presently studying in JNPG.
The celebration will conclude on 22nd February with the Founder's Day celebration with Prof Anil Shukla, Justice UK Dhawan, Olympian Sujit Kumar, Olympian Syed Ali, Poetess Kavita Tiwari, and Cricket Ashok Bambi gracing the occasion.
A Brief History
The foundation of this college was laid in 1917, as a small school in Pandeyganj area of Lucknow. In 1938, this school transformed into a completely developed Inter College, offering full-fledged education in Art, Science, and Commerce streams.
In 1946, the Inter-college earned affiliation from Lucknow University and started classes for B.A. and B.Com. Slowly and steadily, it expanded into teaching various other subjects. Presently the college has enrolled over 10 thousand students, in various courses which include B.A., B.Com, B.P.Ed. , B.Sc, B.Ed., LLB, BBA, M.A., M.Sc., and M.Com.
Located in the heart of Lucknow city, the college is not only shaping futures but also setting new benchmarks. With such a great history, the present day college is a leading name in education. As they complete 100 years, we congratulate them and hope that they achieve much more.
