More Games Than We Can Play in a Lifetime. a Plan, Finally.

My Next Console Focus!

Do you have games sitting around in your collection just collecting dust or you're just waiting around until you can get the opportunity to play it after you beat this game or that game?

Just how often do you really try to through a game before hitting off that next big game; often, too much or did you have a spell recently? If you have answered yes and "probably a lot" to the following questions then I want to share my piece of wisdom with you.

You see, I too am going through this very same thing. I have games across other platforms that I have not yet touched, I'm still working my way through Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Happily, I'm almost done with the game.

I 100%'ed almost every area in the game and I might try for the platinum trophy for the game. Right now at present, I'm currently trying to re-learn playing my games at a slow and patient pace, no rushing.

But back to the wisdom at hand. So knowing I still have 'thousands' of games to play and beat, I came up with the idea to make a list of the console games that I've beaten thus far and where I should set my sights next.

I got the idea one day while I was at work and thought "instead of putting my finished guides into individual folders, just do a tally of how many guides you have across each console" Currently, I have beaten and completed guides across the following consoles:

PS5, 6 games beat

PS4, 9 games beat

PS3, 8 games beat

PS2, 4 games beat

PS1, 2 games beat

Nintendo Switch, 1 game beat

SNES, 3 games beat

NES, 3 games beat

Sega Genesis, 3 games beat

So, since I beat the least amount of games on my Switch, my sights are set on the Switch next.

This is something you can do if you're just feeling like you have too many games to beat and you just want to help keep it even or so you can keep up with consoles games that need your personal attention.
