Marvel phase 4 villains

Much debate has gone into which of the mainline avengers is the most powerful of the group and oftentimes one of the names to consistently appear near the top of the list is Sokovian refugee turned avenger and superhero Wanda Maximoff, the scarlet witch after the events of one division and want his subsequent rebirth. As the fabled scarlet witch, it was hinted that she had the potential to grow even more powerful than the sorcerer supreme, and it is widely believed that she is one of the most powerful avengers to date and perhaps one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, though, which individual character ultimately takes, the title is still up for debate as the most powerful character in the MCU is still currently unknown.

Despite this, however, the stakes for the future of the MCU are continually growing and evolving, and we are being introduced to a new roster of both heroes, as well as villains alike, who might challenge Wanda for this title, alongside individuals like Ereshem, the judge and the roster Of dark avengers that is currently being built, one of the most predominant antagonists who was set to make his debut in the coming years, is none other than Kang. The conqueror who was teased in the closing moments of Loki seems to be one of the most imminent threats to the fabric of the entire marvel cinematic multiverse. This has led many to wonder if Kang is more powerful than Wanda herself and if he is not, then how can the MCU hope to establish realistically, compelling stories take with such a vast power disparity while watchers of the marvel multiverse we’ll be answering that question today.

Welcome back y’all, and let’s get into this, perhaps the most important distinction between these two characters, Kang and Wanda, is that Kang himself does not have any superpowers of his own. Instead, though, Kang has access to the fullest extent of technological achievements, gadgets, and weapons that can be found in not just his home era but anywhere on any timeline.

Nathaniel Richards comes from the 31st century, where technology is far more advanced and it’s unclear as of yet what this entails by MCU standards. However, we know his variant. He, who remains was exceptionally powerful and could even apparently predict the future with extreme accuracy based on Kang’s comic appearances.

However, we can’t surmise that he will likely be equipped with incredibly powerful shielding technology as well as battle armor that enhances his physical characteristics immensely, as well as an array of ranged, as well as melee weapons that have allowed him to conquer entire timelines with an army at his back, but whether or not this tech and his forces can stand up to the raw might of Wanda’s capabilities and her chaos magic is yet to be seen. The MCU might elect to make this technology more powerful and powerful enough to withstand Wanda’s attacks to build the stakes while altering the comic precedent.

But it stands to reason that a mythic being who has displayed the level of power similar to Wanda may not be limited by mortal technology, and until we see how the MCU depicts Kang the conqueror, we have to rely mostly on speculation in regards to his MCU Adaptation in the comics Wanda Maximoff is known as a nexus being and dwarfs the physical capabilities of most intergalactic foes, as well as some of the most advanced technology in the world, not to mention the multiverse as a whole, given Wanda’s performance against Thanos and his armada. Before even being fully awakened as the scarlet witch in Wanda's vision, it stands to reason that there may be very little that Kang, the conqueror can hope to do against the scarlet witch. But again, this depends on the MCU stakes and each of these characters, as well as how they differ.

That being said, however, it’s important to remember that Kang’s true threat does not lie in his physical power or even his technological prowess, or the resources of his armada. This is what has made Kang the conqueror so dangerous in the comic books, Kang, the conqueror is a formidable fighter and feared tyrant because he quite literally cannot be killed. Although Kang the conqueror is human, he has an endless array of multiversal variants who all share the same objectives and motivations being the complete dominion of any timeline that they can venture to.

So can Kang the conqueror’s endless life, stand up to Wanda Maximoff’s endless power, If one Kang dies and one invasion is thwarted, it is only a matter of time before another Kang approaches, the mainline MCU, and it’s only a matter of time before even the great scarlet witch is eventually overwhelmed in some way or another, as we also have to Remember that Kang, the conqueror is one of the most intelligent beings in marvel comics, even if the scarlet witch can ward off every iteration of Kang throughout her lifetime. Her lifetime only protects a set number of years on the sacred timeline and she is only human.

After all, Wanda Maximoff is canonically around 30 years old, and the events of one division seem to show that she is entering the prime of her life in terms of her physical power. Scarlet witch, though, is subject to the same aging patterns as any normal human. Despite her immeasurable power, and if she can protect her home from the incursion of Kangs, all they have to do is jump forward a few short decades to a generation where the scarlet witch is no longer able to protect her world.

The roster of the Avengers team is always in flux, and in just the past 10 years we have seen the rapid expansion and diversification of the MCU’s cast of iconic characters, beginning with 2008’s iron man before iron man’s arrival on the scene. However, the only widely prominent avengers were captain marvel, who was off-world for the duration of her tenure, and Captain America, who had been lost and presumed dead for decades, while some incredibly talented human characters like shield operatives Natasha, Romanov, and Clint Barton were present, very few Enhanced individuals had presented themselves in the mainline MCU.

It was indicated in the first Thor movie that he had spent very little time if any on earth and the earth was largely without any superpowered defense force capabilities. At the time, the Kingdom of Wakanda had advanced technology to rely on, but they were still largely in isolation and arguably the most prominent superheroes of the era were the first generations of ant-man and the wasps. This just goes to show the drastic power disparity between the two given eras of the MCU and the Kangs are not limited to only the current day and current age, meaning if the Kangs wanted to invade this era, where Wakanda was separated from the rest of the World ant-man and the wasp were the only prominent superheroes captain marvel was off-world and Captain America was on the ice.

It would be exceptionally easy for them to dominate the earth, not to mention Thor is probably not even aware of what is going on earth and very few eyes are on this small blue world. The Eternals aren’t even allowed to interfere, Kang could conceivably take over with very little opposition.

The Kangs can effectively choose the point when the timeline is the weakest to begin their incursion. So, despite Wanda’s immense power, and regardless of her potential to surpass the sorcerer supreme in terms of mystic capabilities, it seems unlikely that she would be able to stand up against the full armada of multiple Kangs. Even if she can ward off several throughout her life, the sheer endless army of Kangs and his brigades will eventually take their toll on even the scarlet witch.

This, however, is not to discount Wanda’s tremendous power. However, it is merely meant to illustrate the grand scope of the conflict that lies ahead for the future of the MCU or the marvel cinematic multiverse in the dire ramifications that may arise from an endless siege of Kangs year after year, If a solution is not discovered at some point in the near future, but anyway, what do you think of this assessment. What do you think of this overall, who is more powerful or, more importantly, who is the more dangerous phase 4 combatant And how long do you think Wanda can fight off Kang’s endless armadas before ultimately succumbing to his incursion, or did we get it wrong in the sheer might of the scarlet witch being too much and being able to simply erase all Kangs from existence. We would also like to state that we’re making a lot of assumptions about the Kang character and in this article, we were strictly analyzing, the Wanda from the marvel cinematic multiverse.

That being said, the comic version of Wanda will most likely be able to defeat Kang because well, the writers essentially can make her as powerful as they want.

Anyway, though, readers leave your thoughts on this down below. Thank you for reading.
