Male Train

 I have read an article "THE UNHEARD VICTIMS OF INDIAN MASCULINITY" published in TIMES OF INDIA , September 14, 2022 ( https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/blogs/voices/the-unheard-victims-of-indian-masculinity-why-so-many-young-men-as-ncrb-data-shows-do-violence-to-themselves-or-to-others-over-love/ ) .  

The afterthought is that this is  a global problem, not just Indian. Of course, the degree of manifestation of masculinity may vary from place to place, depending upon various factors, 

But first comes the question of  understanding of Masculinity.  If we  understand Masculinity , then we should also know its definition. Further, we would also like to know, whether someone wants to have masculinity or he wants to demonstrate masculinity.  Are all male Masculine??  We don't know. 

I tried with several dictionaries. Most of these identified masculine as having qualities of a man. In collins dictionary   ( https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/masculine ) ,  Masculine is referred to as adjective, having qualities characteristic of men and boys, as strength, vigor, boldness, etc.; There are more details in dictionary, but I found the three key words:  strength, vigor and boldness . 

So, on one hand,  we are discussing about victims ( as published in times of India) of masculinity and on the other hand , we find key basic  features of masculinity, i.e. strength, vigor and boldness.  

There seems to be some disconnect. If men and boys are masculine, then  they should have strength, vigor and boldness. Then there can not be victims of masculinity. 

but the fact remains that where ever we see victims of  hate, racism, extremism, terrorism, anger, etc, we mostly find masculinity involved in it.  

MALE TRAIN is going to be a platform to help a person check for himself, if he has such masculinity features associated with him and whether he finds victims around him, because of these features.

MALE TRAIN will also help reduce the victims of masculinity around him.
