It Ends With Us- Colleen Hoover_ Book Review🕮🌼🩺

About The Author:

Colleen Hoover is an American author who primarily writes novels in the romance and young adult fiction genres. She is best known for her 2016 romance novel, It Ends with Us.

If you see my Book review blogs, most of the reviews are related to Colleen Hoover. This shows that how much I am obsessed with her writings and the way she expresses her imagination through her novels.

The last book which I read of her was 9 November, which was a roller-coaster ride of emotions for a book reader.

This book was in my TBR for long time, It took me only a day to finish reading this book because it was so compelling.

About Characters:

The story revolves around the three main characters of this book which are Lily, Ryle & Atlas.

Lily Bloom is a florist, Ryle Kincaid is a neurosurgeon and Atlas Corrigan is a chef in this Novel.

The story starts with Lily and Ryle when they first meet on the rooftop. Lily was looking for some fresh air because today she has given eulogy to her father. Ryle was also there to get some fresh air but things turned out in different ways when they start sharing about their day. They share some of their deepest darkest secrets with each other which they call it as "Naked Truths". One of Lily's naked truth was about Atlas.

This was there first meet. Call it a destiny or Collen's plan they again met in a shop which was owned by Lily. And Allysa the sister of Ryle was working as employee in Lily's shop.  This gave him one more reason to be around with her.

About Lily & Atlas:

Since childhood Lily has been witnessing Domestic violence in her home. She just hated her father for that.  Her father was very renowned figure and mayor of the town. Even the police was also on his side because of that her mother never complained about him to police. One day on her way to home from school she met Atlas in Bus. Lily's friend was talking about his appearance and how he smells so bad as he had not taken showers for years.

Lily was not bothered by any of her words. on the way to home  she saw that Atlas was going inside the abandoned house which was near to her house. Out of concern she offered Atlas to take a shower in her home before her parents arrives. Atlas hesitated at first but then he accepted her offer and took a shower.

This continued for several months. Lily would invite Atlas at her place when her parents are out.  Atlas talked about Boston where he will going to live in future because Everything is best in Boston. Lily used to write about her feelings to Ellen DeGeneres in a journal kind of a like a letter to Ellen. Atlas was not just a friend to Lily, he was more than that. Atlas also felt the same towards Lily.

One day her father caught both of them together in her room. After that day it's been several years since she has seen Atlas. She became a florist and opened her shop in Boston.

Ryle & Lily:

Now Ryle and Lily are married and they are happy. But it doesn't take long for their hippieness to be destroyed when Atlas again enters in the life of Lily.

Insecurities of Ryle took a very drastic turn in his and Lily's life. Things which Lily's never wanted to experience in her married life she was facing it. Domestic violence. Ryle used to lose his control whenever he hears about Atlas. Things got severe when Ryle reads all the Journals which Lily has written to Ellen. Each journal was depiction of lily's love towards Atlas when they were teenagers.

I do not intended to give many spoilers but if I keep writing about this book I am sure I will definitely spill so many beans.

My thoughts on book:

When you are picking Colleen Hoover's book to read you should not have a second thought like whether you  should read the book or not. It's Colleen Hoover, you can trust on her with every penny you have spent on her book. She is worth your time.

This book had me thinking about various situations in my life where I could have been as brave as Lily but I choose not to be.  This book again made me care and  fell in love with fictional characters.

Without a doubts you should go with this one and also the sequel of this book, It starts with us.

I would rate this book 5/5.

Happy reading❤️
