Is Intermitent Fasting Healthier Than Its Profitability
My first mobile app review on FeedingTrends is Fastic, which is a healthy fasting tracker app.
Launched in 2019
1 mn MAU, both Android and iOS
$700k MRR estimated
📝 from user perspective:
There is a little tiny line between going worse and being a love mark when it comes to health, which seems Fastic hit the second. 150k review, 4.8 ratings in iOS🌟 I don’t like the idea of stop eating🙃 but the well-designed product made it happen! I tried intermittent fasting for a while and actually liked it. The free plan covers all essentials, including fasting hours, water reminders, etc. Do you want to have nutrition tracking and get some healthy habit recommendations, pay $2.99 per week then, a fair price in my opinion? 💭
📝 from business perspective:
The Berlin-based company raised $5M in Oct 2020 as a seed round from several individuals, quite big checks, but the numbers show it'll pay back well. I mean, the estimated recurring revenue is tremendous, I didn’t believe it at first, but App Annie says so. In opposite, the market size and retention rates are the most critical metrics for such a product. Assuming the product strategy is in a vertical of health-related apps, I'm excited to see where it goes🖖
My overall rating is 9 out of 10. Such a business. Don’t forget to check their Instagram ads. You will see how they don’t sell intermitent fasting, they sell the wish of weight loss.
