Apple iOS 16.3 Beta 2: For testing purposes, Apple has made the second beta update of the upcoming iOS 16.3 available to developers. Support for physical Security Keys, which provide an additional level of security for an Apple ID, is included in the software update.

With this function, Security Keys will take the place of the two-factor authentication codes that are now supplied to Apple devices for Apple ID login. A more streamlined procedure for moving songs from an iPhone to a HomePod and vice versa is also included in the update. According to MacRumors, the Cupertino-based company plans to deliver the stable build by February 2023.

The iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 beta upgrades are now available for download for public beta testers who have registered for Apple's free beta testing programme, claims the company. Please be aware that members of the Apple Developer Program have access to beta versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. Members can create apps that make use of the newest capabilities offered by Apple platforms and check the compatibility of already existing apps.
