How to Install a Garage Door?

 6. Attach the spring

Connect the spring to the track and lock the tracks together. To firmly fasten the two springs to the main header bracket, lock the spring locking cone and the spring anchors.

 7. Attach the torsion rod

Insert the torsion rod into the bracket holes and connect the pulleys. Lock the center header bracket. Connect the cable to the pulley wheel and glide the wheel to the header bracket. Tighten the rod using locking pliers.

 8. Final step

Fasten the spring using the steel rods and remove the pliers from the torsion rod. Your garage door should function normally now.
