How To Increase Your Productivity and Time Management?

Have you ever had an amount of time (no matter how long) spared for you? Whatever the case it may have been, if you finished the never-ending amount of school work that your professors just absolutely enjoy assigning to you?

If you were anything like how I used to be about a year ago, then you most likely have used whatever time you have been able to spare for yourself on nonsense, or something that is not thought of to be productive.

I am going to be fully blunt with you, now that finals week is literally right around the corner for me, the activities that I will be listing down for you are activities that I myself have not been very consistent in doing.

So without further ado, let us get started

Exercise and Diet

Yup; you probably had this one coming, but exercising is a key essential activity that one must do not only to feel productive but to enjoy long-lasting health. This past November, I weighed in at the highest weight that I ever had, that being 300 pounds. Currently, on May 12, 2022, I am 250 pounds. What I did to really abide by the changes that I was trying to make in my life; was to think of it as a hobby, and not a requirement. Planning your diet, and what you are going to eat every day for every meal is more fun and productive than you would think. Add a daily 2-hour exercise routine with that (or whatever your niche may be) and be sure to follow that schedule every single day. I promise you, after the first week or 2 you will begin to see changes in not only your health, but how differently you choose to be productive by exercising.

Write!

I would not be advocating activities for you to do without pitching in writing, you know me better than that. Writing is probably the best way to remain productive, as well as strengthen your mind by constantly working on it and keeping focus. Right now I was contemplating whether or not I scroll on my phone for an hour, or sit down and write my daily Medium article (I am pretty sure you know which one I ended up choosing). While you do not always need to have a story to tell, you can write something down that will keep you focused, elaborative, and productive overall.

Start a New Show

This last activity is considered as sort of a last resort because I would not advise you to sit down in front of a screen and just binge for hours. Starting a new show can actually be productive, as you will end up enjoying devoting your time to whatever you are watching, and choosing to remain constant with what it is you watch. Just recently I started this show called The Boys, and it has left me feeling for more after the 3rd episode. You begin to piece together theories, you begin to think about what you like or dislike about the show, and that all factors into being productive with your time.

Here we are, the end of another article, although it won’t have to be because I will write another one tomorrow, that is me being productive with my own time. Remember, being productive is doing whatever you want to do that you believe will make your time feel well spent.
