These days the use of credit card has become common. Credit cards are used by many people as they offer many benefits. Usually card issuing companies/banks offer credit cards only to those who have income. But some banks offer credit cards to students as well. These credit cards are designed according to the financial needs of students and are offered to college level students.

Students generally do not qualify for student credit cards because they do not have an income. But, the applicant should be above 18 years of age. Other eligibility criteria may vary from bank to bank. Student credit cards are available in limited numbers in India. Banks/finance in the form of education loans
