How to Discover Your Authentic Self — At Any age
Have you ever felt a little less excited or motivated after coming back from a vacation? Personally, I’ve noticed a big change in myself after taking a break. I wanted to eat lots of sugar, drink, and most importantly I didn’t feel like doing any writing anymore.

This change in how I felt about things had a big impact on how I saw the world.
It’s surprising how a few habits can change the way you think and feel.
During that time, I didn’t know what to do with myself and I felt bored.
Now, let’s go deeper.
There was a time when I started doing some of my old habits again. Eating unhealthy food and doing things that weren’t very good. It changed my personality a lot — I went from feeling excited and ready to do anything to feeling lazy and not wanting to do anything.
If someone asked me who I was during that time, I would have wondered if I had changed. The energy and excitement inside me seemed to be gone, and I thought it would never come back.
Some people think that our personalities never change.
But that’s not true at all. I can go from feeling excited and motivated to feeling uninterested and not wanting to do anything. Even if it’s something I used to enjoy.
“Our habits can change how we feel and act, more than we realize.”
A lot of people go through life feeling a bit confused, not knowing what they want. They might be doing things that aren’t good for them without even knowing it.
If you’re reading this, chances are you haven’t discovered your true self yet. But let me tell you, there are amazing things inside of you waiting to come out.
To understand how habits affect us, let’s talk about four big problems.
drinking too much
eating too much sugar
playing too many video games
using drugs.
These things can hurt our bodies and how we feel inside.
When we drink too much alcohol, it takes a while for our bodies and minds to feel normal again.
Eating too much sugar can make us feel tired and foggy in our heads, and we are always hungry for more.
It can mess with our personality and make us feel different than who we truly are.
Video games are another thing that can be a problem. They can take up a lot of our time and make us forget about important things like exercising and doing our work.
They give us pretend rewards that make us forget about real achievements.
I got caught up in playing too many video games too, and it made me forget about doing important things in my life. It was hard to stop playing because it felt so good, but it also made me feel weak and not very ambitious.
Just think about it — when we drink too much, it can take almost two weeks for our bodies and minds to get back to normal.
And if we play too many video games, it can take a few weeks to stop thinking about them all the time.
Take a look around you and notice the effects of these habits —
people looking tired, lacking energy, and not being themselves.
In America, many people have a hard time showing their true selves because of these bad habits.
But it’s time to clear away all the junk and let your real personality shine through.
In conclusion,
Our true selves can be hidden by bad habits that we don’t even realize we have.
It takes some time — about two weeks — to break free from these habits and find the real you. Once you remove the negatives, you’ll be amazed at the wonderful changes that will happen.
So, do you now understand that you haven’t seen your true and special personality yet?
