Final Fantasy 16 Is What's Hot This Summer!

One of the hottest games is coming out this summer. Now, it can be said that it could be any game and I mean any. The Playstation 5 has received a lot of attention in the aspect of featuring some of the hottest games in the known realm. One game in particular is Final Fantasy XVI, a game that could very well change how a Final Fantasy game is played forever.

Okay, that might sound like a bit of an exaggeration but I assure you, it’s far from it. I remember when I played Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition, you really felt like you were in the driver seat. Yeah, there were a lot of talk about using the Royal Arms, but I used them because I challenged myself. Besides, this was Noctis’ birthright, why shouldn’t he have been using them?

But, that’s neither here nor there. Final Fantasy XVI comes with a whole new story and a whole new way to combat evil. The story is being told from the perspective of a young protagonist who is set to protect his little brother who, I believe, is next in line for the throne.

However, as he commands the power of the Phoenix, a summon we all know and love, other powers of the summon gods are beseeched. Personally, I like the combat system where you can use magic and weapons in real time; it sort of reminds me of Final Fantasy XV and how battle was conducted.

Most Final Fantasy games were all about taking turns and whatnot, but Final Fantasy XVI isn’t on that, it’s good too because Final Fantasy games need to be more fluid in the regard that combat needs to be a lot more flushed out.

I mean, I’m all for taking turns but the truth is that no matter what combat isn’t really being done like that anymore, not since the old days. In a big way, I hope when Final Fantasy XVII comes out, they’re not going back to the old ways of battle.

I want it to go on the record that having all of the archeons or eidolons or whatever the summon gods will be called, it’s going to be great using all of them as well. Honestly, I think this game is seriously going to be game of the year or I have hopes that it will.

But no matter what, I’m so amped for this game and if I’m being completely honest, I think a lot of people are going to get their money’s worth of this game. Final Fantasy XVI is shaping up to show such promise, it makes me happy to be on Playstation’s side and have my own Playstation throne where I can watch and survey all.

I didn’t think there were going to be anymore good games after Final Fantasy XV but I was apparently wrong and I’m glad I was because I am really looking forward to this game. Final Fantasy XVI comes out on PS5 on June 23rd, 2023.
