With 3500 narrow steps over 13 stories this Baori was invented by the natives years ago to harvest rain water. The stepwell also has a Palace at the bottom which served as a place for the royals during the hot summers. The Baori is surrounded by a large courtyard which houses intricately carved sandstone artifacts and idols that date back to the 10th century.

The place is famous for wooden block textile printing, handmade paper art and Jaipur’s blue pottery.
