Can Relationship Survive Without Intimacy?

Relationship is the way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected. People have different mindset towards any relationship they find themselves, some choose to be in a relationship just to be loved, while some just for what under the skirt.

Question: what is a relationship without intimacy called?

Answer: Platonic relationship

Platonic relationship involves deep friendship, if no physical intimacy or s*x exist between you and the other people, it called platonic relationship. Damn!!!!!! it so boring imagine being in a relationship and you guys are scared of getting intimate leading to risk of that relationship crashing or you tell your friends this is my girl but you are so scared to touch her or hold her. Lol!!!!!!!!!! it more of like two dummies playing to be real but eventually becoming more stupid, seriously it better to just dissolve that relationship and remain friends.

 I have a similar experience involving me and my First Ex-gf, back then, we were like lover birds trending very well in school, but I was so scared or should I call it shy to hold my girl’s hands, looking into her face was so arrrrrrrghhhh !!!!, I couldn’t just face her though we chat very well, walk around but later on my friends started banging at me for being a P*ssy. I just have to summon up courage and started hugging her before leaving for home but man!!!!!!!, it was so hard when I first hugged her I felt so scared and shy. The painful part hugging was only the virtual highest stage I could get to, the others are just fantasy till later on I loosed her due to distance.

Now back to the question, can relationship survive without intimacy? Based on human feelings everybody wants to be loved, cuddled, cared for, and pleasure. The moment a girl says yes to a guy the process of intimacy starts from there, because they will like to share their secret with each other, create a deep mutual trust and care for each other, then for the guys part the ego comes in by showing his friends this is my girl, same goes for the girl. They will also like to hold hands while walking then this drive to go further by increasing their level of love for each other goes to the part of kissing and cuddle based on their agreement this rolls on for a while then the drive to move further leads to S*x.

A relationship can survive without intimacy but it will become a real struggle for both partners as times goes on, neither of them will be happy or feel secure in the relationship. The basis of a relationship is complicated. Often, the lack of intimacy is the reason partners feel emotionally abandoned and lose interest or desire for sex leading to “Inhabited sexual desire”. The fear of intimacy can cause partners to be emotionally unavailable and lead to an endless dance of pursuit and distancing.  Basically relationship can’t survive without intimacy.

You can choose to oppose the fact that relationship can survive without intimacy but u must remember you can never win your body when it longs for pleasure.
