Are You Also Self -Pitying Yourself ?

Are you gloomed about your doomed life? Let’s find a way to transform it from Gloomy to Bloomy.

We often find ourselves regretting our actions or things. Sometimes regretting over past sometimes over the present. This drives us to the zone of Self-pity.

Self-pity is a negative mental pit where we often fall while being low in spirits, feeling blue or agonizing over decisions etc. It is a self-directed glumness, pushing ourselves to empathize with ourselves for enduring hardships. This feeling makes us feel worse and pushes us to the poorest zone of mind while crying all along, we desire help from others around us. But during this time we forget that ‘We are the only ones who can help ourselves ‘.

When you were struggling,

When you were living

You were always with yourself,

Since your birth,

Till your death

You will always be with yourself.

One has to pull out oneself of that self-pity pit.  For that, we must realize that others can help me only for a while but only I can help me all the while.

But How can we Realize this ???

For this, we need to delve deeper into ourselves.

Find yourself. Explore yourself.

Remember:

तत् त्वम् असी: - I Am That

You are the question, you are the answer

You are the water, you are the fire

You are the weed, you are the seed

You are the trail, you are the lead.

Find your comfort in yourself.

  • When you need the warmth - Hug Yourself

  • When you feel dull - Treat yourself to a nice meal or shopping

  • When you need someone to hear you - Talk to the sky, it is wide enough to hear all your cries.

  • When you feel you can’t describe your feelings - Pen down your feelings

  • When you don’t feel anything- Take a cold shower

  • When you want to feel rejuvenated - wake up early, take a deep breath under the blue sky and bask a little in sunlight to get positive energy.

Stop self -pitying and start self -appreciating yourself. Self-appreciating is seeing yourself in the mirror i.e. exactly as the way you are. Seeing yourself not through other's eyes but through your own eyes i.e. own perspective.

Additionally, start practicing gratitude and meditation to find solace within yourself.

Talk with yourself, talk with the universe all your questions will be answered.

Trust the universe because it will do magic.
