Darakht-e-Neem Hoon, Mere Naam Se Ghabrahat To Hogi,

Chaav Thandi Hi Doonga, Beshaq Patton Mein Kadvahat To Hogi.

These lines fortunately have become the most appropriate introduction for the man who has forced the Indians to keep a dictionary with them while attending to him, Dr. Shashi Tharoor. He is an icon, who strikes a chord with the professional and intellectual youngsters of India.

Being an MP from Thiruvananthapuram (or Trivandrum), he is not like the politicians we see on the Television screens or catch glimpses in the newspapers. He is neither an attention seeker nor a marketing person. He is an Indian first, an intellectual second, an inspiration third.

But This Is Not The Reason Why We Are Talking About Him

We are talking about him today because he came down to Lucknow on 13th May, 2018 for an interactive session with the Nawabi dwellers. Mr. Raj Babbar (President, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee) received him with all warmth that Lucknow wanted to give him.

He was heard live on the subject of ‘Building nation with the politics of inclusiveness’, by a massive crowd of over 2000 people at the Jupiter Auditorium, Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow. And trust us, there were good listeners to the exceptionally good speaker on the mic.

He Requested For The Contribution Of Professionals In Nation Building

He knew that when professionals meet after their hectic day, they discuss the present day nation. Especially, the unjustified, the wrongs and the uncared subjects. But the sad part is, they can only discuss it among themselves and then leave it, for it is somebody else’s job to rectify and improve those subjects.

Since the professionals conversate on the reality of the nation, the problems and changes in demand, their contribution in nation building is far more essential than of anybody else at present. And there are facts in support of this.

Around 150 Million Young Indians Are Impatiently Waiting For Good Days

Much to surprise them, good days won’t come if nobody is trying to bring them. The 60% population of India, which makes up the energetic youth must come forward. This is the need of the hour – The Inclusion – Dr Tharoor talked about.

Having extensive knowledge and vocabulary over India’s economy, politics, culture and external affairs, Dr. Tharoor wanted inclusion in various forms.

1) He wants inclusion of youth , who have the courage and the energy to implement reforms and bring about changes.

2) He wants inclusion of women, who have the capability to grow our GDP significantly by their active participation.

3) He wants inclusion of technology, which could automate processes and bring Dr. Kalam’s India 2020 to life.

4) He wants inclusion of liberty, which allows a person to choose whom to love, whom to pray, what to eat and what to wear.

5) He wants inclusion of acceptance, which doesn’t turns wrong into right and respects each other’s differences, the very truth.

In the end, he left us with a very important question.

How will India’s policies be framed?

Will it be emotions or evidences?

Or the system will thrive on trial and error and failure?

All India Professionals Congress (AIPC) Has The Solution

You must be happy to know that this session was organised by AIPC (All India Professionals Congress), a platform that has been constituted just a year ago, under the able guidance of Dr. Shashi Tharoor (Chairman, AIPC) to seek inclusion from all ends.

Along with him, Dr. Ameeta Sinh (President, AIPC), Mr. Salman Anees Soz (Regional Coordinator, North Zone, AIPC), Mr. Aalim Zaveri (Chief Operations Officer, AIPC), Prof. Vinod Chandra (Secretary, AIPC UP) and Dr. Anis Ansari (Vice President & Treasurer, AIPC UP), are also making consistent efforts to achieve this inclusion.

This Time Politics Is Interested In You

Clearly, AIPC is a platform for all professionals – doctors, engineers, lawyers, retired defense personnel, managers, bankers, advisers, artists, and most importantly entrepreneurs – to come and discuss the problems that widely exist.

While you may not be interested in politics, this time, politics is interested in you!

(You can drop your views/suggestions for AIPC in comments section below.)
