Few such points include -

Virtual Identity Creation
Conflict and Disaster
Compulsive Obsessive Syndrome

1-Virtual Identity Creation

Online friends and social networks have given the youth a new world of existence. Most of the individuals take the help of social media to create a whole new identity for themselves, which is in sharp contrast to the identity possed by them in real life.

Inactivity on virtual profiles creates distress and activities on them create insecurities. They believe in the 500 Instagram followers and 1000 Facebook friends, more than they believe in real life relationships.

They move from being a son, a daughter, a brother or a sister, to become social media agents. They spend hours on social media, talking to people on various social media platforms, strengthening their virtual identity.

2-Conflict And Disaster

Often the real identity and virtual identity confront each other. Often the two identities get mixed up leading to an imbalance in life. And more often it widens the generation gap in families.

These conflicts between real identity and virtual identity lead to disasters, which are beyond imagination. In many cases, the virtual world is responsible for unhealthy activities or even deaths of the individual.

Virtual identities make people lose interest in everything that happens around them, including people and events. They are more interested in the life and associated happenings of people who are re far away rather than people who are near.

3-Compulsive Obsessive Syndrome

People are more concerned about the updates coming on social media. They keep checking the phone more frequently and as and when a notification pops up. In a nutshell, virtual friends are believed to be more real and virtual problems are believed to be more significant.
