Why It Is?

Why the sky is blue, the leaves are green,

I ask everyone, they tell me ‘shut up! don’t dream’.

Why we walk, why can’t fly,

‘Don’t question, follow what it imply’.

Why we go to school,

can’t i be like the fishes,

who are every time in the pool.

Why we wear these layers of clothes,

why can’t be like the bird and flocks.

Why we drink water, why can’t we eat it,

‘Don’t question everything, you have to accept the way it is’.

If things are like that, then why we are in a trouble,

why we are not getting peace in the entire world.

Questioning is my right,

you cannot stop me, it’s not right.

I have my own mind,

I can think in whatever way,

I don’t have to worry about the time.

You always suppress my thoughts,

just because they go contrary to your post.

I am a human, not a puppet,

you are no one to tell me, ‘do this and that’.

I disagree to all those things,

which are made by some particular beings.

You claim everything is going right,

then why women are raped citywide.

Where human is enemy of a human,

where the culprit roam around,

innocent have to summon.

Where some enjoy the pleasure of life,

and the rest starve and die.

Where we see, what others want us to see,

those are self centred, their mindset is wee.

I disagree to all the practices,

which they made for their benefit.

It’s hard to breathe in such a world,

where humanity is in a trouble.

Voices of the people are suppressed,

the few rules over the rest.

I question, and will question everything,

which endanger human beings.

Because its humanity, which is the property,

the rest after which we run, its just vanity.
