Throughout the year, we witness remarkable redesigns as companies opt for a fresh look. With half the year gone, we're already amazed by some of the greatest rebrands.

This year, the design industry is buzzing with activity, featuring legendary logo rebrands from major corporations. Let's delve into these redesigns and explore the factors driving these companies to change their brand, highlighting the importance of corporate logo design services.

Burger King

Burger King's rebrand, a surprise and significant redesign, reintroduced a nostalgic minimalist look, marking their first rebrand in over 20 years, dominating the new decade.

Burger King has revamped its logo with a retro, warm vibe, reshaping the entire brand. The rebrand, which has been well-received, has been hailed as the best logo redesign of the year.

GM

GM, along with other car brands, has updated its logo to embrace the digital era, incorporating flatter, sleeker, and more modern designs, transforming previously uppercase letters into lowercase and using a gradient.

The logo redesign received mixed public feedback, with some questioning its hidden meaning. The vibrant color palette and underlined'm' have had a significant impact on the design industry this year.

Planters

Planters' 2021 logo redesign, replacing Mr. Peanut with a modern, signature look, was met with shock among some, but ultimately necessary for the brand's growth and success in the new decade.

This is a difficult thing to do when you have a signature part of your brand that is what makes you memorable and different. Planters took on the challenge of establishing a brand that was still recognizable despite killing off existing elements of their brand and executed it very well.

Without losing the nature of the brand, this logo is confident, fun, and conveys the signature look of the brand.

Warner Brothers

The new WB logo, first introduced in 2019, was officially introduced in Locked Down two years later. It featured 3D elements, metallic silver on the shield edge and letters, and a signature blue shield.

Fans appreciated the change, believing it improved the logo while keeping its signature elements.

The White House

With the new president came a new logo for the White House. At the beginning of the year, President Biden’s administration team decided to do an overhaul of the original White House website and give it an upgrade.

Although at first glance the most obvious change might be the colors in the logo, there were other changes that are more subtle made to the logo.

The logo underwent a significant redesign this year, featuring subtle architectural details and pillars and windows, reflecting the goals of the new president and his administration team, while preserving traditional roots.
