Wilfredo Leon
Professional volleyball player Wilfredo León Venero, born on July 31, 1993, is of Cuban and Polish descent. He now plays for Sir Safety Perugia and the Poland national team. Wilfredo is the best volleyball player in terms of male category.
From 2007 to 2012, he was a part of the Cuban national team. two-time NORCECA Champion and 2010 World Championship silver medalist (2009, 2011).
Along with Yoandy Leal and Robertlandy Simon, he was regarded by many as one of a kind as he guided Cuba to the silver medal in the 2010 World Championship held in Italy.
He is regarded by many observers as one of the pioneers of the "Generation of Miracle" in Cuban volleyball. One of the top volleyball players in the world is Wilfredo León.

Rachel Wacholder
A professional beach volleyball player and model, Rachel (Wacholder) Scott was born in 1975. She has competed in eight championship games with three different partners.
Scott won the 2005 AVP Tour awards for Best Defensive Player and Most Improved Player. By 2009, she had participated in 168 beach volleyball competitions, 121 of which were held locally and 47 abroad.
She had won eight matches, finished 22nd on two occasions, and earned over $750,000 in prize money.

In 2006, she and her partner, seasoned beach volleyball player Elaine Youngs, were the No. 2 seeds on the AVP tour.
During the 2005 AVP tour, Scott and Youngs unexpectedly defeated top-seeded Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor in the Huntington Beach Open, snapping their 50-match winning run. She had the second-most kills (7.71 per game) and seventh-most digs on the circuit (5.17 per game).
Five competitions were won by the team, all on the AVP Tour, with three victories coming in 2005 and two in 2006.
Her induction into the Southern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame took place in 2006.
