Like a picturesque canvas has the most precise blend of colors, patterns, and brush strokes, , organized by R R Group Of Institutions was a perfect blend of ideas, innovation, and enthrallment. It brought forth a kaleidoscope of events, in the cultural, sports, literary and technical arena.
Be it the astounding keynotes delivered in The Lecture Series or be it showing one’s talent in the Cultural Activities in the form of dance, music, drama, and others, the participants broke their previous records. The fest was full of zeal an enthusiasm, providing an opportunity to the students to reveal one’s true self.
Pragyan 2018 was a great show. It had all the qualities that the annual techno-cultural fest of a reputed and disciplined college like R. R. Institute of Modern Technology should have. Here are glimpses of the four-day extravaganza that took place at R. R. College from 22nd March 2018 to 25th March 2018.
Cultural: Culture is what makes infinity comprehensible. Dazzling dances, soulful songs, and dumbfounded drama give an insight of our cultural roots. The cultural events included solo/group dance, solo/group singing, nukkad natak, mimicry, fashion show, ad mad, etc.
Fine Arts: Creativity has versatile forms. Fine Arts is an opportunity for the artistically creative minds to demonstrate their skills and paint vivid pictures on the canvas. The fine arts events included face painting, poster making, best out of waste, rangoli, mehndi, card making, tattoo art, etc.
Literary: Where minds connect and thoughts synchronize, the words flow in ceaseless motion. A pen is always mightier than the sword. The literary events included debate, extempore, content writing, etc.
Sports: Sports is not just about playing, it is about the drudgery, passion, and zeal. It is about teamwork and coordination. The sports events included cricket, football, table tennis, kho-kho, races, badminton, carrom, chess, etc.
Technical: The science of today is the technology of tomorrow. Exhilarating principles along with mind stimulating tech trivia quench the thirst for knowledge. Technology is what uplifts our capability to dream and transform it into reality. The technical events include the model presentation, technical poster, power point presentation, workshop by the department, etc.
Even fun deserves a place in the short span of life. Although we are growing up, we should never stop having fun. The value of an informal environment is known only during the fest, for this does not require you to have mastery of any skill. You can let yourself flow freely.
