Lucknow, the city of Nawabs and Kebabs, was embraced with convoluted, frivolous, sensual and decadent poets in the Lucknow Shayari Festival. This bustling city is famed for its Nawabi Andaaz, architecture, and the mouth-watering food, but now it seems literature of Lucknow will make it more famous in the entire world.

Lucknow Shayari Festival at Bali Auditorium-

Young Poets, Young Shyars from lucknow and other cites came together to make lucknow shyari festival an amazing literature experience. An evening filled with literature, tehzeeb, shyari, and poetry. The City of Pehle-Aap saw so many well-known poets at the festival that it was difficult to keep our ears off anyone. Here are some excerpts that will resonate with the shayar in you.

At Rai Umanath Bali Auditorium, talented young poets gave a magnificent start to the Shayari Festival. The authenticity of the fest was beautifully presented by the organizers, Kavita Kosh and Tehzeeb-e-Awadh Cultural Educational and Social Welfare Foundation. It is needless to be said that they left no stone unturned in adding stars to the name of the city.

The poets on the stage completely took us back into the era of Sher-o-Shayari, creating an aura that nobody can forget. Among those very realistic and effective recitations, we have a few couplets for you to cherish.

Suhail Ahmad in the festival:

Maa se Pehle Kya Thi Maa, Zara Uska Dhoond Kar Late Hai.

Nikhil Pathak gave another unforgetting poetry:

Zindagi Ki Dagar Aasan Nahi Hai,
Hai Kaun Musafir Jo Pareshaan Nahi Hai!

Another young and blithe poet, Vishal Singh Tabish explained his first meet up with his words:

Khushboo Ke Ehsaas Pe Bhaage Pagal Log,
Mere Jaise Seedhe Saade Pagal Log!
Mere Jaisa Dhoond Rahi Ho To Sabr Karo,
Mil Jaaenge Sher Sunate Pagal Log!
Dost Humare Koshish Kar Ke Haar Gaye,
Pagal Ko Kitna Samjhate Pagal Log!

In continuation, we had Shivansh Shukla:

Ashko Mein Behte Sawalaat Kaise Likh Doon,
Main Apne Dil Ke Jazbaat Kaise Likh Doon?

An apathetic poet, Shadab bowed his feelings in his lines:

Haalaat Ne Mujhe Mere Rone Ni Diya,
Uss Shaks Ne Kisi Ka Bhi Hone Ni Diya.

All these poetries connected with the people in the audience and even inspired many to start writing if they haven't started yet. It was truly the love for literature that flowed with time over there.

Also, two books were launched in this sessio. Hamnashi, a ghazal collection by Aasif Al Atash and Mr. Irritating by Nilesh Sharma were unveiled by the guests. It was great time with great people amidst great arrangements. Our best wishes to the team. May you keep growing.
