I have only known American English for many years because that’s the accent that I learnt in school and college. However, in Europe many people speak British English. During my first year in Europe, I had to look up for some easy and basic vocabularies because of my lack of knowledge in the British English. Therefore, I decided to learn the specific aspects of the British accents.
In this article we are going to see some of the lexical differences between the British and the American English.
